Haha, I laughed are the 'parting scene' as it were. The cat was obviously having a ball and, despite what the worry-warts say, the bird was being GENTLE. There was no aggression - only play.
Clearly the nay-sayers haven't been on the receiving-end of a true, aggressive parrot bite before...
How cute! I love this video, especially at the end when you are focussed on the bird and in the background you can see kitty's little paw come out from under the door! My conure loves to chase toes -- people and kitty toes. Cats and birds can be socialized to live and play together with supervision. Cats aren't stupid and don't want to get their noses nipped. I just posted a vid with my kitty & bird also, if you want to check it out. >^..^<
Haha, I love how the birdie is all aggressive and mean XD
Of course it is good to have a bit more freedom and even if it means a bit of danger :) Besides, they aren't really stupid themselves, and I agree, animals ARE tough.
My parrot used to get right under a light bulb or right against a hot iron to get warmth every now and then, and it may seem dangerous to us humans, that she may easily get burnt, but she never ever did.

Although it is cute, there is great potential for tradgedy here for both animals. I hope you don't continue to let them inneract in this way or it could turn ugly real fast.
@TheCrazyBirdLady44 Nope, he's gotten pretty big by now and I don't let them together. Even as a kitten, I didn't trust him. e stares at my bird and gets all excited, when that happens I sometimes remind him the bird hurts and is a no-no by letting the birdy give his tail a nip. Neither have ever been harmed. Thanks for your concern though!
OMG!!! I have a brown throat, too, and she LOVES to chase and bite my cats! They think she's a little green hawk! Is this common for them to be so bold against animals much bigger than they are? I always thought it was just my conure. Funny!
@betsyfross Wow, you do? I thought my bird was just crazy, lol! I don't know, maybe its just because don't like being small so they act all tough. Haha, just like little dogs.
lol i would have the same reaction at 0:10
