hesdlights such as these are not illegal as long as u are not driving with them on, the "blue" lights are halogen bulbs... theyre a broght white and not illegal, to drive you.need either halogens or regular head lights, regaurdless this color chamging shit is rice anyway

Texas is legal on HIDs and so are all the other states. DOT APPROVED is all you need and most hid's are. They gay ass colorrange like 20k and 30k purple bs arent

Ummm....for a fact, at least in florida..hids are not illegal, unless they are mimmiking emergancy vehicles light (deep blue, red,). You can have any other color.

You can have LED strips and such, so long as they are either white or amber, but not blue, green, red, or other colors. Trust me, this law is pretty much universal and I can't begin to tell you how often I see cops pulling over stupid young fools in their riced out cars for having purple or bright blue headlights.

He said just what I confirmed...anything other than white or amber is ILLEGAL....PERIOD, unless you're authorized to display them, such as volunteer firefighter or paramedic. Otherwise, you're impersonating a cop and can be arrested and/or have your vehicle confiscated and impounded. Better not to tempt fate.

Acura wouldn't install anything OEM that would violate local and federal laws, but these Chinese aftermarket manufacturers of shit conversion HID lights and what not make such blue or purple lights that they're practically Christmas tree lights and not even good enough the illuminate the road, not to mention so bright and misaligned that they blind oncoming traffic. The police have every reason to pull you over for this safety hazard.
