@xxBAMSTERxx You could also argue why they spent all that money getting the crew, the equipment and everything else out to Prague, spend all that money on VFX compositing removing the puppeteers and creating CG eyeballs whereas it might not have taken that much longer to rig up the characters in CG completely and SAVE TIME *AND* MONEY.

I would have outright rejected the proposal from the ad agency if I knew they were doing any of the above.

I remember the year when I was working for a post-production company producing the Argos Christmas advert that had Richard E. Grant as the obnoxious rock star and having my office just outside VT and having to hear the same bloody thing over and over and over and over and over and over again through playbacks. Made me vow never to shop at Argos again.

Alas I did.

Just goes to show - if you come up with the most annoying and repetitive advert it WILL work. Or drive you to go postal. Or both.

Possibly Bill Nighy as the Dad and Caroline Quentin as the mum, kids no idea. The end of the final ad is genius and will go down in tv's advert hall of fame :)
