  • I think it´s weird that it was this song that became one of their number one singles(along with the masses against the classes) and that this album and singles were the one´s that were given HEAVY coverage on MTV...seriously, they´ve always been great but maybe their popularity in Sweden(where I live) didn´t start to grow until "this is my truth" came out....shame considering they sounded nothing like this in the beginning

  • I think its sad that most comments on youtube are just about attacking someone else's intelligence. Are you really all as smart as you make yourselves out to be? Have you never made a mistake in your life? And have you a broad knowledge on every subject area to justify your condescension? Life is too short. P.S. what an incredible song!

  • I love this song, the meaning, the hope for the future and the will to fight for a brighter day for your kids ...

  • The music, guys... The music ! You still haven't learned... =)

  • Does anyone know what the lyric "monuments put from pen to paper turns me into a gutless wonder" means??

  • @Solinvicti No but I am just starting Homage to Catalonia now so if I find out I will tel you

  • @Solinvicti

It means that rather than going out and confronting 'the enemy' head to head, toe to toe and...putting your life at risk in a true revolution..the story-teller is doing so from the safety of the written word...and he feels cowardly for it. That's one take on it, yet throughout all history, writing or saying the wrong thing can put you and all your loved ones in harm's way. (See Salman Rushdie)

  • @KoenHead I'm a girl... and anyway I didn't mean to be rude in calling you a racist but you appear to many people to be one and I think you should just ignore anymore comments directed at you as it's just going to wind you up. :)

  • @Soniccream You're a girl? Not what I heard.....

  • This song = brilliant

    This band = amazing

    This KoenHead guy = racist

  • @Soniccream The song=boring The band=pussies That Koenhead guy=has forgotten more about music than you'll ever know and wants to know how the fuck he's a racist. To make that charge with no proof shows what an idiot you are. Soniccream=An idiot who throws out the racist charge when he can't handle the truth. So, in a sense, he's a human pile of shit.

  • Lol, coming here to hear an awesome song from an awesome band and all I see is dick-measuring contest between USA and GB/Europe... sigh

  • @p1hclan Then hear this lousy song you think is awesome (Man, your taste is horrible, dude!) and stay away from the commentary. Simple enough, right??

  • @KoenHead Dude, don't drag me into your petty quarrels. If you don't like the song, fine, click dislike and off you go. But, don't vent some issues you have(clearly you have them) here, you have shrink for that. Good day to you, Sir.

  • @p1hclan "you have shrink for that." Are you retarded?? Writing like THAT, you must be. So it's hard to take your whiny retort seriously, Einstein.

  • Ah, there's nothing like idiots arguing on a music video on youtube.

  • Leave the rabbits be. Concentrate on fascists instead.

  • Why the fuck are you arguing about punk dickheads

But for what its worth Britain wipes the floor with America musically ;)

  • @ABoyInTheBush The way you put that put a hilarious mental image in my head...LOL

  • I like this song.

  • me cago en el puto anuncio...

  • * La ramblas *.. I was still half asleep -)

  • How THIS have only 548722 views??

  • Yall niggaz is postin' in a troll thread

  • @koenhead

    What is your first language?

  • 23 people are fascists.

  • 4:28 it wasn't me

  • @Teppo459 Ooh yes it was - stop eating raisins!

  • In a class of its own.

  • Comment removed

  • Respect/ gorgeous song writing and lovely melody....

  • This is a work of complete GENIUS. What a haunting tune, that gets me singing every time. Brilliant stuff.

  • calm down, people. Justin Beaver is only a monster of ur nightmares. this song is a beautiful reality.

  • Flawless .

  • only half a million views? what is wrong with the world???

  • My teacher played this in assembly, to say the message was strong, and i was the only person who knew the song :'( I am ashamed of my age group.

  • @ItsAllAboutThei No age group I am aware of is much better, awareness and a thirst for truth tend to transcend barriers of age, sex, financial status etc ;)

  • I've shot a rabbit once, which shows I can. A pity I'm no longer armed...

  • this song is epic

  • @KoenHead

i think you actually like the manics but you would be too embaressed to admit it. otherwise you wouldnt be on here. you would probably listen to beyonce otherwise coz thats rocknroll!!

  • @hannahnewnham

    lucky sod!!!

  • number one on my 1st birthday;)

  • @hannahnewnham That's scary. Really scary. I am officially old.

  • Justin Beiber - If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next ;-)

  • Hey MSP fans...Im PUPSKI, from AUCKLAND - NZ. Please check out my music :) Im starting out....Cheers!! x

  • Just love this song

  • I dont understand how this only has half a million hits, its fucking mental.what shite do people listen to??

  • Justin Beiber - Baby 660,000,000 views

Manic Street Preachers - Tolerate This 510,277 views

    We are so doomed...

  • @MartinHDJ

Partially, but I bet a lot of Bieber's views are from people looking to see how awful it is with the intent of taking the piss. How I loathe that kid...

  • @MartinHDJ

    I know what you mean.

  • @MartinHDJ 510 is awesome... think about the amount of 10-15 girls who live in this world.. and then u think about dudes who doesnt youtube shit 24/7 :D

  • @MartinHDJ NO, you've got it wrong. Bieber's building a fan base. Once he's got them hooked in, he'll release the greatest rock and roll album of all time. He'll show us his true nature.

And the first song on it will be a Manics cover!

  • @MartinHDJ Justin Beiber...forgotten by 2013

  • @MartinHDJ Easy on the Bieber he spoke up against SOPA/PIPA when no-one else in the industry had the balls to do the same.

  • @MartinHDJ remember the fact that this song is about 12-13 years old now - when it was released (when most songs are at their most popular) youtube wasn't even around!

beiber's songs were all released after youtube got big, obviously he's going to get more views. and you're also forgetting that a big reason that song gets so many views is that people (like you) like to make jokes about it, thereby attracting attention to his vids and making them go viral. nice job pal.

  • @dm9910 you are all wrong :) its not bout the date, its bout the music and the mainstream too. so ... you are wrong :)

  • @SagaelKun i'm not wrong, i'm just pointing out a few other reasons why baby gets 100x more views than this. if youtube was around and was popular when this song was released i reckon it would have at least 5 mil or so.

rick astley videos gets huge numbers of hits. not because he's any more mainstream than MSP these days, but because he went viral when rickrolls took off. similar thing happened with beiber and rebecca black's music

  • @dm9910 Whatever dude... loser

  • @MartinHDJ wow brutal insult there man, nice job.

  • @MartinHDJ we cant tolerate this!!

  • @MartinHDJ the answer is in this song :"If You Tolerate This then Your Children Will Be Next"

  • by the way koenhead im not british im irish. look it up on your mommas atlas

  • @SuperSnowman84 So you're a drunk, right??

  • @koenhead

you stick to your linkin park shit and the likes and we will keep hold of the manics!! also the holy bible told the truth about american foriegn policy. did ye find any wmd in iraq? clown

  • @SuperSnowman84 Yeah, I'll take my lesson about Foreign Policy from a fey Rock band. You're an idiot. Also, Linkin Park sucks, but not as bad as the Manics......Fake Commie Rock for those who can't read. As for WMD's, well, at least our country can kick some ass when it needs to. We kicked YOURS a couple of centuries ago and I'd be happy to give you a repeat performance.

  • @KoenHead Are you 4 real? Or do you need a hug or something?

How can you kick that person's arse (not ass) two centuries plus ago when he wasn't even born? Bananas.

I bet you're Richey in disguise - the ultimate irony. Once a proud Welsh poet, now descended to being a WUM on a band he doesn't like.

  • @KoenHead And we kicked YOURS more recently than that, DickHead. A couple of centuries ago would take us to the war of 1812. It ended pretty much status quo ante bellum after the British Empire forces razed all the government buildings in Washington, including the white house, to the ground in 1814. Canada is not for you - that's King George's - NAUGHTY colonoists. They don't teach that in US schools though, do they? Bloody Hell. Go and read some books for fuck sake (if you're able).

  • @1000JR But you are a country that still worships a monarchy that is obsolete. We here in the US could give a shit about ANY Royal wedding. Anyway, too bad that your thieving, poofy country hasn't been a 'Power' in the world in centuries, and man, do your ancestors have a lot to answer for! As for Canada, it's a frozen wasteland of Hockey goofballs and Tim Horton Doughnut franchises.....and crappy music (Rush maybe being the exception). Anyway, FUCK YOU would be my point.

  • @KoenHead No one worships the monarchy, and no they are not obsolete. From what i saw of american tv some of your news programs seemed to care alot about the wedding. Also you do realise that 90 years ago the UK still had the largest empire ever so i would call that being a power. Especially as without us both WW would have been over before America ever realised something was going on. Final thing America has given us some rubbish music while the UK has also made some of the best bands

  • @TheAli985 First off, there wouldn't even be Rock Music without my country and how in the fuck have we released "rubbish" music into the world?? The best bands are from the UK?? Maybe in the 60's, but you can KEEP Britpop, Adele, Wham!, Flock Of Seagulls, etc., and it was WE who started Punk Rock, not your! As for your LARGE Empire...South Africa, anyone?? Nice job, Brits! As for WW2, it only ended AFTER we jumped in to save your cowardly side of the pond.....YOU'RE WELCOME!

  • @KoenHead I said you have some rubbish music which is very true in my opinion. Not going to go and list them all but things like miley cyrus. Just one of many. What i meant to say was the Uk has had some of the most successful bands of all time. Also would rather listen to britpop over things like katy perry, miley cyrus. Well you cannot deny it was the largest empire and south africa the racial segregation got much worse 20years after they were granted indepedance.

  • @KoenHead Had to post twice to get everything in. No you did not jump in either time to help. Both times you got attacked first. Also without the UK you would not have won either as i would have liked to see you try and attack german occupied europe all the way from America. Also in what way were the british cowardly. Atleast they stepped up and helped their allies instead of just voting to isolate themselves from everyone until they got a lot of their navy sunk

  • @TheAli985 The US did not need a bunch of poofters to help them win WW2, let me assure you! But back to my original point....The Manics are a sucky Neo-Commie band for people too lazy or stupid to form their own opinions and the US created Rock & Roll. There....that's all.

  • @KoenHead

Actually it was the Soviets who beat Hitler. The Western Front was a sideshow in the war but don't let the facts get in the way of a good story eh?

  • @turlough06 The SOVIETS beat Hitler?? Are you on crack?? That's ALMOST funny, but really, you're outta you're fuckin' mind! You've been listening to commies like the Manics for too long and will believe whatever you're spoon fed. What an idiot!

  • @KoenHead

No I'm not on crack but I do have a degree in history and I know what I'm talking about..unlike you. 80% of fighting in Europe was done on the Eastern front, it was the Soviets and you could even make the argument the Soviet weather that defeated the Nazis. The Americans played a much more minor role yet claim they won the war. You talk about being force fed, you come across as the typical arrogant, ignorant yank. No wonder the rest of the world hates you.

  • @turlough06 I could give two shits what the world thinks about the US. We're still kicking ass and taking names and again, we invented Rock & Roll, which is the only reason you are discussing this band who chooses to desecrate the art form. Arrogant?? Maybe, but when you say that the US was not the mitigating factor in WW2, you're simply trying to re-write history and you're full of shit. Period.

  • @KoenHead fuck off cowboy !! the world fucking laughs at you you prick !! you only came into the war when the japs bombed pearl harbour !! we stood alone for 3 yrs !! and as for inventing rock and roll i would put our music against yours any day !! your probably a little rich college boy so fuck off and get into the real world you fucking inbred

  • @turlough06 .. Unlike you i don't have a history degree but i know that this song

is about the Spanish civil war.. I thought the line " The ramblas" was a giveaway.

  • @40ChampagneSupernova

Yes this song is about that but we were having a different debate, such is the nature of the internet.

  • @turlough06 President Clinton was quoted speaking about the "... terrible war of 1942 to 1945". Astonishing ignorance from a President.

  • @turlough06 .. No need to be smart though Mr history degree.. I just stated it was clearly about Spanish Civil war.. I have learned something though, so not all bad.

  • @turlough06 i love you. :L

  • @turlough06 u muster have been brainwashed

  • @rankomania The typical excuse. "How can someone support any other side of argument but mine? They must have been brainwashed". Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and Kim Jong-Il all said much the same.

  • @Epeolatry1 the man of today can see whats happening more than anyone else. but he needs to see out of the box and look for the common good! there are two evils on the planet right now! one of them is pretty good and worth living!

  • @rankomania You make less sense than the fascists you appear to idolize, then. Ever wondered if you're wrong? Puts a lot of perspective into your life. This song isn't about communist oppression, it's about the culture of immorality and greed existing today, and how reminiscent it is of some of history's darkest moments. Man of today? As opposed to who, the man of yesterday? Look for the common good? That's just gibberish.

  • @Epeolatry1 its your problem if you only see this song in one problem that we have. as much as the comunism was problem, todays religious wars, laws that prohibit freedom of speach, sharing goods... but hey thats me, not everyone can be smart.

  • @Epeolatry1 btw have you heard of evolution? yes, thats that silly natural event that changes everything, she even changed the man of yesterday, that barbarian into the man of today this peace and gold seeking monster. Hey! But thats all the smart guys, the rest are stuck somewhere in the past, Have a nice past!

  • @rankomania No, look, I'm literally telling you, you make no sense! You seem to be trying to use a really stupid or complicated metaphor to tell me what you mean, but I can;t have a conversation with you if you don't speak in plain good language that I can understand.

  • @Epeolatry1 and im literally saying this to you! its ok to not be able to understand it! not everybody can be at least average smart. don't worry! its ok!

  • @rankomania Right, I agree. It's fine not to understand this music. But don't go posting - like you were - what the message of this song is if you've admitted you don't understand it.

  • @KoenHead And without the British Empire sending colonists to the New World there would be no America as we know it today.

    You're Welcome.

  • @cmorrr66 They didn't send ANYONE over here, you half-wit! The smart ones CHOSE to leave that shithole! So NO thanks, dummy!

  • @KoenHead Haha started punk haha,

The Kinks (were fucking heavy in the 60's), the sex pistols (punk at it's purest form) you're rock N roll created by america was created by Black Jazzcats and Blues boys; the people you've been beating down for a long period. Get your facts straight you prick!

  • @homierub The manufactured SEX PISTOLS are Punk in it's purest form?? What a rock of steaming shit, er, "shite!" No dude, AMERICAN bands like Black Flag, Husker Du, The Dead Kennedys, The Circle Jerks, Angry Samoans, The Dead Boys, X, The Cramps, The Ramones, Bad Religion, Johnny Thunder's Heartbreakers, 7 Seconds, Naked Raygun, etc. etc., were WAYYY better than all that phony UK crap, so you get YOUR facts straight, you prick (you forgot the comma after "straight," you retarded git!)

  • @homierub ....and AGAIN, WE in the US started PUNK (ever hear of Iggy Pop, Motherfucker?? The MC5??), YOUR bands, like The Damned, had to dress like vampires or wear Nazi shit like Sid Vicious and Siouxsie Sui (or whatever she's calling herself THIS week). No sir, OUR Punk bands were the real fucking deal. But you have been force-fed Eoro-shit all your life and don't know any better. Sucks to be you........

  • @KoenHead Lol.

  • @KoenHead All the american bands you just mentioned suck big time, hence why everyone knows the Sex Pistol and not your list of semi pro underground wank. Ever heard of Herman Brood? He was the real fucking deal. And btw U MAD??

  • @homierub Again, until you get it, The Pistols were manufactured "rubbish." All of the bands I listed could not only kick any UK Punk bands 'arse' ONstage, but out in the streets as well. Man, do you have your head up your ass!

  • @KoenHead No dude I'm just trolling the shit out a your brain.

  • @homierub Naw....you're REALLY just THAT stupid.

  • @KoenHead That's not nice to say, you are a foul person! You can rot in your own american asshole!

  • @homierub Yeah, well at least I won't have to pretend to like crappy bands like Manic Street Preachers and Arctic fucking Monkeys! We are the "asshole" of the world?? Well, OK.....but that would have to make YOU the fecal matter. Just listen to the fucking LAME bands you make popular. Any other shots at the U.S.?? Go ahead. We can take it. But remember, we can still kick your country's ass on our WORST day, you fey, effete Euro-trash losers!

  • @KoenHead eurotrash? LOL! massive attack, the prodigy, unkle, richard ashcroft, atari teenage riot, dj shadow.... they are fucking genious, but the massive U.S marketing only shows tons of clones of punk-rock (yes, i love bands like blink 182, sum 41 etc) but is very boring when the talent is only recognized if is punk/rock/heavy/etcetera... veeeeery boring.

  • @KoenHead Black Sabbath (The UK invented Heavy Metal), Joy Division, Manic Street Preachers, Bullet For My Valentine, Apocalyptica, H.I.M., Children of Bodom, Ensiferum, Amon Amarth

Do I need to go on? :)

  • @HippyGathFreak The UK invented Heavy Metal?? Ever hear of Blue Cheer, who proceeded Sabbath by a few years?? Joy Division? Overrated AND depressing as shit. Also, if you are going to give me examples of great British music, leave the Manics off that list because they suck goats balls. I also have never even heard of those other fourth-tier bands you mentioned. Ensiferum?? That sounds like a disease that Manic fans give to their sexual partners.

  • @KoenHead Led Zepplin, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Pink Floyd...Fuck off?

  • @jamma016er Never said I didn't like any British music. But EVERYTHING you like coming from there (except maybe that gay House/Techno/Rave shit) came from here FIRST in the good 'ol US of fucking A that you all hate so much. All I have left to say is....You're welcome!

  • @KoenHead My God, you're really badly in need of someone to love you :(

  • @empav1971 Not what your sister moaned in my ear last night.........

  • @KoenHead Dude... Everyone hates America. Not because were 'jealous' but because youre all a bunch of cunts hu sit up ther thinking u rule the world. Nd u really dont because no gives a toss about you. At least here in England we have some culture. U lot have nothing. So stop bad mouthing England cunt ass!

  • @JemLouisa It's "we're," not "were," you half-wit! Anyway, you can hate on the U.S. all you want, but as far as your 'culture' is concerned, all of that lame R&B shit like Amy Whinehouse and Adele that your crap in our direction is derived from music from HERE, in America. Same with Rock Music. If I want 'British' culture, I will turn on Public Television and fall asleep after five minutes of whatever Jane Austin nonsense they happen to be regurgitating.

  • @KoenHead "Amy Whinehouse and Adele that your crap in our direction is derived from music from HERE, in America." - nothing to be proud of here ;-)

"Same with Rock Music" - here one has to LOL, as there were/are barely any rock bands from the USA worth anybody's time.

  • @amarie123 That's funny....when I read MOJO and UNCUT, two British music mags I like (surprise, surprise!) all they do is praise American bands and talk about how overrated anything Noel Gallagher or Damon Albarn are involved in. Look, I'll take Wilco and Drive-By Truckers over any 20 UK artists you try to shove down my throat. Like the UK, British music has been spinning it's wheels for years. 'Real' U.S. music beats 95% of the crap that comes from the UK, and it ALWAYS has. Period.

  • @amarie123 ...oh, and P.S. You're a fuckin' idiot. Without American Music, the only great British bands like The Beatles/Stones/Zeppelin/Sabbath, and a infinitely few others, would not have existed. These bands have always said as much, so to make such a mass generalization about American Music tells me you're just fucking stupid.......and I'll bet you have rotten teeth, as well. It's called FLUORIDE, people! Join us in the 21st Century, OK, limeys??

  • @KoenHead Looking at what you wrote I can't accept the title of 'idiot' :(

Noel Gallagher? Damon Albarn? Why do these two names appear in a discussion about Rock music?

There are many more great British rock bands than the 4 you mentioned (figures). And yes, most of them took inspiration from (American) blues etc., but we are talking ROCK music here, and the USA has very little to show in this field. Not mentioning the non-existence of progressive rock in the USA.

PS. I'm not a limey, lol

  • @amarie123 First off, Prog Rock is lazy crap aimed at stoners and the feeble-minded. I'd rather have a Root canal then listen to Emerson, Lake & Palmer, YES, or Gabriel-era Genisis. Fuck THAT! Also, to say the the USA has not produced great ROCK bands is just nonsense. Again, WE created Rock Music and perfected it. To deny that FACT, you'd have to be really fucking stupid. Oh yeah...It's YOU we're talking about.

  • @KoenHead And that concludes our conversation. Come back when you are ready to have a serious discussion.

  • @KoenHead Next you`ll be telling us that yanks have landed on the moon!

  • @TheFullyscaled Fuckin' A!

  • @KoenHead You´re generalizing on prog - rock and Brit music, but of course, as an American prick, you have to be an arrogant hypocrit. And unintelligent, nonethless, to believe such stupid thing about British people with rotten teeth; FLUORIDE TREATMENT has existed since the 20th Century. You´re a great example of why people associate the U.S.A with stupidity and arrogance.

  • @xXPaRaDoXiCXx Stupidity?? You can't even spell "hypocrite!" Look at yourself in a mirror before you throw that shit my way, you half-wit....or at least go back to Grade School and learn to spell, OK?? Anyway, Prog-Rock STILL sucks.

  • @KoenHead You should go learn grammar then. There is no double question mark, idiot. And even then, it isn´t my problem, after all, English is not my first language, and I never claimed to have perfect English. And sir,you should go back to grade school aswell, in any case.

  • @xXPaRaDoXiCXx "aswell?" Good lord......Oh, and the double question mark states a sense of disbelief of how stupid you are, so it WAS needed.

  • @xXPaRaDoXiCXx and everybody,

Nationalist insults, either taken or received, don't belong in a song recalling internationalism and the fight against fascism.

(This song is one of the reasons I'm proud to have a Welsh last name!)

  • @amarie123 may i add friendly fire..jobdone,jog on

  • @JemLouisa Wales love, not England.

  • @jamma016er Wales, England... were all part of the UK.

  • @JemLouisa

Not all of us think that way. You clearly have never met many Americans. Many of us are acutely aware of the disgusting bullshit our government promulgates and heaps upon the rest of the world. Not only do they fuck others they fuck their own subjects as well. But, on a brighter note, I can guarantee you there are some cool mother fuckers here, and we happen to be some of them. The Manics are my favorite band. Great music knows no borders.

  • @TheFringefilms Then im sorry to the people that dont think that way and my comment was aimed at those who do. And in that case im glad to know that there are people like you because honestly all of what u see about Americans on tv are people that live in a bubble nd have no clue whats going on around them. But good, America need more people like you.

  • @JemLouisa

Thanks for the apology, though there's no need for it...many folks here who don't have their heads up their ass...sadly too many enjoy the comfort of perpetual ignorance...Peace to all of you who dig the Manics...best band ever....

  • Poor Manics. They never made it in America for a couple of reasons. First, their music is illiterate and boring. Second, they made many lame attacks aimed in our direction like that horrible song on "The Holy Bible" album, as well as looking foolish posing with a evil crook like Fidel Castro. But also because we can smell fake Rock & Roll a mile away and that's what the Manics are. I don't want to listen to their shitty music. I just want to punch them. Keep that crap on THAT side of the pond!

  • @KoenHead is there any end to you? cmon

  • @KoenHead You're clearly being very ironic, with your comments on illiterate and boring, and noone else has got it yet, but hey, I'll keep it between the two of us. I know your duvet cover is a shot for the Holy Bible. I know you've called your cat Richey Edwards, and I hope he comes home soon.

Your line on 'smelling fake Rock and Roll' is hilarious - it must be extreme irony, given what shifts units in America.

The Manics didn't make it in America mostly because they didn't tour it. Simple.

  • @Onelessproject What shifts units in MY country. It's YOUR country that will praise any White singer who thinks she's Black (where are your Black Soul stars??) and has given the world crap like "Pop Idol" and several other crappy shows that foist horrendous amateur Pop Stars into the cosmos. Anyway, The Manics knew better NOT to tour here. We'd kick their asses back across the pond. Simple, indeed......

  • @KoenHead I'm Irish. I'm neutral here; I don't need to stand behing a flag.

'Pop Idol' was started by a group of people, not by a nation.

The Manics were going to tour, then Richey disappeared. It didn't happen. Would have they made it big? Not really, because they didn't have the hunger to tour all over.

You seem to make music into this international tribal thing?

  • @KoenHead I'll carry on.

Given the success of Green Day's ironically appropriate 'American Idiot' does indicate that there is an appetite for political music. And didn't the Clash do okay in America? Didn't U2 do pretty good in America too, and they started on a political ticket in the 80s. And are you telling me that U2 are less 'fake' than the Manics? Please.

Hope you got that hug you so badly needed :)

  • @Onelessproject U2 (can't stand 'em, by the way) are indeed LESS fake than the Manics. Shit, The Ramones were less fake than the Manics, and they were borderline retarded (but still rock more than any dozen fey UK bands.) Also, at least an album or two of theirs was listenable. As for that hug, I'll shrug that off. If you told me I needed one to my face, I'd annihilate you, so be thankful for your anonymity.

  • @KoenHead And how many records has U2 sold in America? So therefore, what was that about the US not buying into fake music? Kind of contradict yourself, but that's okay, you're allowed, clearly given your I-Love-Manics-But-Am-In-Denial state.

And you couldn't annihiliate a kitten. A kitten would hug you to death.

Out of vague interest, who do you actually like?

  • @KoenHead look, i don't mean to be rude or anything, but if all your going to do is bitch about the Manics, then just piss off. Nobody wants to hear your negative opinions about the Manics, okay? you don't like em, fine. Just don't bitch about them on the comments page of one of their videos, especially when most of the people who view these videos are Manics fans, like myself. and guess what? I'm American and I LOVE THEM, so keep your nasty comments to YOURSELF!

  • @castielsangel95 That you are American and use British terms like "piss off" tells me that you are a pretentious, fake little pussy. Someone needed to mention that any band that worships Fidel Castro will never make it in America, and that you like them damn near makes you a traitor. So FUCK YOU, you little bitch. I'll say what I want here, Freedom of speech and all (Beat THAT, Castro!). The Manics suck and yep, so do you!

  • My first song of 2012 :) Happy new year everyone!

  • It's so true. If you like the song or not. If WE as a collective, tolerate this, then OUR children will be next to suffer. Take heed.

  • This song is a beautiful Hymn to Peace, Freedom & Justice.

Esta canción es un hermoso Himno a la Paz, Libertad y Justicia.

  • What a fantastic night their recent gig at the 02 was. So many songs, this being a highlight. Would love it if they did it every Xmas but with one of them being a showcase for all of their less well known songs.

  • masterpiece

  • Hmm, this song or Pitbull's latest bag of excrement...hmm, not much thinking required.

  • Love this song :)

  • Is anyone else going on Saturday?

  • @Nogli Was Brilliant wasn't it

  • @TheFloydGilmour Absolutely.

  • Its funny how the songs that speak about the TRUTH of today's world have less views then the others that are talking shit about cars money and hoes...

  • @fvn3489 I think it's rather sad, personally :(

  • @fvn3489 This is the second video they shot. The first was a typical night out in Blackwood, with drive-bys, limos, gangsters and flocks of nubile young chicks. JDB was the pimp daddy himself, Nicky Wire was (typically) dressed as a woman, and Sean was boogying on a dancefloor.

  • How do bands get such inspiration... ?! I so love this band

  • Cannae beat the manics...
