Dr. Lonnie Smith is really great when it comes to building up his soloing. I would say it is Smith that really get this song going and grooving in this performance. Randy Johnston is a marvelous player, but I think he is stretching his solo a bit wide at this performance, for this idiom. Lou keeps it spot on, though, at all times.
