  • This is a Michael W. Smith's song to Amy Grant.. They talk about this on Michael's Second Decade DVD..

  • this song belong to Amy Grant. I liked this version too.

  • shes good...but this song belongs to amy grant!

  • Why did she leave out the first part of the second stanza ("Waiting for the train; labeled with a golden star. Heavy-hearted boarding, whispers in the dar, "Where are we going? Is it very far?") Was this an attempt at being PC? I don't get it. It gives the rest of the verse no point of reference.

  • Cool song

  • this is from her first cd

  • @aquabat104 It is! oops!

  • @jellybeanseverywhere great video

  • @aquabat104 ^.^ thanks

  • I like her and her songs, but I wish she could of sang louder. With all her heart and soul. But this is a great song. :)

  • @TheUjay

I like Bethany but Amy's version of this is the best.

  • @Aphoresis Who's Amy?

  • @TheUjay

Oh and in the early 90's she briefly went secular, took A LOT of heat too.

  • @Aphoresis

The singer of the original version, Amy Grant (nicknamed "The Queen of Christian Pop" by the news media). In the 1980's she was the main artist responsible for popularizing Contemporary Christian music before it was a large industry (she also discovered Michael W Smith) . You may or may not like it, It's style is from a little before your time.

This song was released the same year Bethany was born (1988)
