  • What renderer do you use?

  • Is there a good glue tutorial around? ive been looking without good results...

  • @linkspecialproximity

same here, if you find one please send it to me, if i do ill send to you ok?

  • @3Dsmaxcb I've been looking around 3ds max myself and i figured it out without any tutorials :P Its simple realy, pm me if you want to find out some more k?

  • @linkspecialproximity

wow thanks a lot, ive been looking for an answer for a very long time, i would like you to tell me how and where to find that glue thing, and how to use it also, if you can of course

    thanks a lot

  • @linkspecialproximity

thats awsome! ive been trying to figure out how to do this glue thing for a long time, can you tell me more about it, how does it work, where do i find it, thanks a lot!

  • when I try to do something like that my 3ds max crashes and something about nVidia PhysX comes up.. is it because of my ATI card??

  • @L4D2ownage Physx uses CPU to calculate data, so it doesnt matter if you have Ati Graphic card, i have HD5450 1GB Card and Physx works great

  • Is it possible to use glue in reactor? If not, is there a similar kind of thing for reactor?

  • So technically if I made a cube, fractured it with say, RayFire, Applied the "Glue" thing, and then set a bomb with a timer it would stick together then get blown apart by the bomb right?

  • That's awesome. If only it worked with Maya :(

  • @floatingoxygen your problem is that you haven't installed a physics plugin

  • Tutorial!!!

  • nice realism

  • @mrftothek That's Vray, makes anything look awesome :) it does shadows AND indirect illumination (reflective illumination)

  • I've had such problems in running simulations in rayfire... the wrong object breaking, being unable to do a lot of different stuff correctly...

  • How to create a brick wall? Also with the help ofRayFire?

  • @Lamboragon what do you mean Fake?

  • thats how minecraft is gonna be like in 10 years!

  • Awwwh shit do you need a video card that supports Phyx to do this? Because I got a Ati/AMD 950 instead of an Nvidia card with Physx

  • Muh house got all blowed up.

  • kick ass... i love that the rayfire guys keep evolving it.

  • chuck norris just came...

  • What is rayfire for in 3dsmax?

  • Hey i got a question .. Is rayfire with physx waaaay better than rayfire with reactor engine? Is rayfire with reactor engine still nice?

  • @RazaKator Reactor could not deliver such realistic movement.

  • MirVadim, Firstly, I LOVE your work, I mean what more can I say they used this in 2012 and other great movies and ads.

Second, I would very much apreciate you creating a tutorial for basically replicating this scene, doesn't have to be a video tute, im jsut having alot of issues with my bricks, when i start the sim, the bricks jiggle and become bouncy.

    Settings? Thanks :) WD!

  • how do you make a bomb/explosion with physix?

  • @moshiko74 There is special RF_Bomb helper RayFire Tool provides.

  • @MirVadim ye but how to use it i think its confusing and i wanna make collapsings without a stupid ball plzz help me btw awesome powerfull software!

  • at the end it really looks like it's glued together :D

  • Does someone know if im able to run 32bit version of physics on 64bit pc?

  • @RazaKator what is the difrence beetween physic and reactor?

  • This looks amazing.. :)

  • This ain't rayfire, it's LEGOS!!!

  • How do you add glue?

  • They need to use these in video games, the only game to really take on this dream is Red Faction Guerilla, and that isn't so advanced, Bad Company has destroyable walls, but those are too simple also.

  • this is wayyyyyy more complicated than that...

  • Physx of course

  • @MirVadim is there a big difference?

  • i have 1.45 but if i add some impact object it not be fragment auto..

  • does rayfire 1.45 cost money ?

  • yeah but they have 30 day free trial

  • @MoldySquidFish i think its about 285 dollars for a lisence

  • O man, big thanks for this! I was looking for it!

    Спасибо!

  • Amazing! Are you planning to add deformation like in DMM from Pixelux?

  • I only would buy it if it would support physx @ 64 bit!

  • For now PhysX doesn't support 64 bit Max, which means that you still can use it with 32 bit max on 64 bit PC.

  • yes its nvidias fault...they dont release 64bit sdk...rayfire is a awesome plugin, i really respect your great work and knowledge...

32bit max is crap because there is no support for 3+gb ram...i have a question:

If i create a rayfire Physx simulation in max 32 bit, can I bake all animations and export the entire scene to max 64 bit, where rayfire is not installed?

Is there such a "bake evereything to keyframes" funtion?

    Thanks.

  • Actually RayFire bakes all simulation in keys more then one year. :)

So, you just need to save scene and open it in Max 64 bit. No need to export\import anything.

  • physx can be in 3ds max!!! cool, and rayfire can be for 3ds max too right? sorry for being nooby, i'm only 12...

  • Best feature yet, great addition Mir!

  • awesome!

  • wow...

  • so when will it be available. . .

  • On next few days

  • Wow, what an awesome feature!
