  • you've changed me

  • warren oates was the very coolest!!!

  • I wonder what this song is called...

  • he was great. he will be missed for all time.

  • Fun video, really enjoyed it!

  • Warren died this week in 1982, April 4th I think.

  • Two-Lane Blacktop. If you haven't seen it, give yourself a treat.

  • Rent "Bring Me The Head Of Alfredo Garcia" Great Title, Great Warren Oates movie!!

  • rent ? its up-loaded on youtube as i type this...

  • do any one know if hes kin to john oates from hall & oates

  • when it came to acting warren oates was a true artist. he acted with his eyes, the wrinkles around his eyes, the lines on his face, his voice...every fiber of his being. he carried the history of his life and this country during his time on his face from the great depression to the beat generation...and beyond. he was also the embodiment of the old west when it had run out of time and was now civil and no longer wild.

  • warren oates is one of the greatest actors ever. two lane blacktop is an american classic. he was great in everything he ever appeared in. he was great on gunsmoke. he was great in race with the devil, ride the high country, the shooting, tom sawyer, the hired hand, badlands, stripes, the border, the wild bunch...the list goes on and on. like i previously stated, everything i ever saw him in. he would have been great in the last picture show. john

  • AT last fellow Warren fans, never thought I would find any, thank God for the internet or should that be the scientists.

Lyle Gorch, now that is a name!

  • nidumite-

    Don't worry! We're out here!

    Regards, H.

  • Cheers henrygem, seems I am not alone.Warren still lives not only on film.

  • nidumite-

Thanks! No, we are not the only ones to recognise Warrens person or talent. So, at least as long as we live....

And cheers to you too! Yr friend, H.

  • Hell,if I'd been alive when Warren Oates was still kicking I would have liked to f*ck his brains out! OMG did I really just say that?

  • I just call him dad!

  • No way. Are you Tim Oates? I salute you sir.

  • I knew a Steve Daniels back in 5th grade back in Atlanta, GA. Yes he "is" my father and am glad to see many on here still appreciate the man. Keep it going and let his spirit live.

  • Your dad is seriously one of my all time favorite actors. He's truly one of the Greats, and criminally underappreciated by mainstream knuckleheads.

(ps I'm not that Steve D. as I'm a tad younger and from SC).

  • I'm sorry I made such a stupid video. It is not an appropriate way to honor a great man like your father. If I could make something better I certainly would.

  • podycheck-

No, please don't worry! It is extremely hard to be satisfied with something like this - I should make a video about my dad, but I'd NEVER be satisfied with it! But look at the comments, see how you brought a lot of folks who enjoy Warren Oates together. That ain't bad. Even toates1963 agrees (my best to you too!).

  • Warren Oates died for your sins.

  • WTF????? lol

  • still it was too long.

i do appreciate the fact that there is a warrenoates68

  • I hear you man.

  • love warren but got 25 reasons why you are an idiot

  • what are you 25 reasons

  • Doesn't quite do him justice but I agree with the sentiment.

  • Warren Oates was a king!

As "Corporal Langsford" in the Twilight Zone episode "The 7th Is Made Up Of Phantoms" he was fantastic!

His funny line in that episode,"Thats some tourist that don't dig Smokey the Bear" makes me laugh.

    He was a great man!

  • I smell a hit....

  • oh warren*
