  • I only recently heard about bharathanatyam and kathakali dancing, and I was wondering why is it that only women do the dances?

  • @dragonpopsicles101 once was a mans dance, occaisionally woman would dance but they used to b considered whores. Men lost interest and became a female dominant dance, after Rukmani Arundale took initative in this style, Its simply marvelous dance when both man and woman dance!

  • No dance in the world can match to Indians Bharadham,kuchipudi,kathak,Odi­ssi, kathakali. Very BRILLIENT Indian ancesters. The spent life time to develop all these things and above all, at the end they dedicated these to Supreme Lord. The were not just eating and sleeping and looking for saturday and sundays to sit & time pass (watching cricket or cinima awards in TV,with some snaks)They spent real life time,did real dedication and excelled in their what ever they did astronomy,engineering...
