You sang the anthem very well! In my opinion, the NZ anthem is the third best national anthem in the world (after the Russian anthem and the unofficial England anthem - Land of Hope and Glory). But if Land of Hope and Glory [which is unofficial and only occasionally used] is excluded, then the NZ anthem is the second best "official" national anthem in the world! Nowadays, I just cannot get the tune out of my head since I heard it months ago during the Cricket World Cup. btw, I'm South African!

I am lucky enough for the guy putting my name forward in the league but when he don't do the event, we miss out. Thanks kare. Yeah I think people don't realise how important pronounciation of the Maori words are to te iwi Maori. I do the high singing at the end because i remember hearing that when i was a little girl watching dad and his mates watching the All Blacks. Hard note to hit but with the Hype of the crowd makes it easier.
