Scion TCs are fast totally stock, and one places a turbo on the engine, they really come alive. The TC has a fantastically strong bottom end engine, very much like the old Supra. One can build the intake pressure, and the engines are strong enough to withstand very high boosts.

Evo's are pretty bad ass, I own a tc and it's mega fast, just 8ibs, will get to beat a evo. Like that, unless it's running 18ibs or over.  It's the differential and stuff that slow the evos down on the freeway, to much energy wasted on turning all four wheels. So twd, frwd, will of course win, evo will win on the launch, but tC WILL catch up. Stop hating ppl. but then again where would all us successful people be without all of our haters haha

if the evo is stock its slow... i got a '79 rx7 that i dont call fast but does a 12.6 1/4 mile still slow as hell for having a v8... the reason why its slow is because i never put a turbo on my v8 which has a redone complete topend and if i boost it to 18 psi ill push 720+ rwhp

@tomtom11222 if you know anything about cars...then you know that a tC that boosted and tuned will smoke and sti or evo...boosting a tC or civic or anything that is naturally not boosted is evening out the playing field with the sti and evo's..now when you tune the boosted tC, civic, other 4 bangers, then they are fast...yes i drive a tC and i ran 15.8 in a 1/4...my tC is stock...and i never heard of a tC having gas recalls...that was the prius not the tC
