@Dragilth its ment to be like that, he's showing how to survive, if it wasnt staged it wouldnt work. if he really was sent out with nothing then the last thing him and the crew would be doing is filming, they would be consentrating on surviving. the whole point of the show is for him to go into certain situations and teach you what to do, and that cant happen withought a certain amount of staging

I love man vs wild, and i have found my self in his place before but by myself and his tips are always helping me even when i am no longer out in the wild, Like If your in car crash and your okay to get out of car before it explodes but your seat belt would unlock and the door is jamed how do you get out, razor blade, knife in the belt and i used my knife to break up the window, or a small hammer.
