@firecrotch6000 on the 2 weeks of basic be ready to get yelled at alot for what other people do, the drill sgt is going to try there best to div the weak frm the strong what ever they say dont take it to heart cause its just there job to be ass holes my drill sgt was pretty cool once the weeks was going by. be ready to hear alot of crazy thing that r just funny ass hell but try your best not to laugh cause they will rip u a new ass hole lol. as a scout be ready for anything, we do it all

@firecrotch6000 Get a copy of the soldier's handbook, and learn it. Do pushups, do situps, run. Learn the Army ranks, by sight. If you are not ready when you arrive, it will be harder, but they will make you into a soldier anyway. Do not take the Drill Sergeant's yelling to heart.

I noticed you got into the 5-73. You boys are out of Bragg right? If so, how'd you go about it? Presumably Airborne School, but how do you actually get assigned to an airborne unit? I'm heading to OSUT in August.

Its all luck when you in process bragg you can sometimes hint at what bct you wanna go to  but its mainly luck of the draw. if you have airborne in your contract thats good but if not make sure you max the pt test and don't do dumb shit. osut isnt too bad
