  • Amazing , Just Amazing.

  • LOVE U SNAPE

  • Wow!

  • i think severus snape desevered a more epic death or not a death at all but he will b remembered as 1 of the greatest characters in any fantasy novel series heres to alan rickman playing a roll so well and JK rowling for inventing the character to inspire me to create my own novel !!! =D

  • I know you all are clearly upset this wasn't in the movies. Warner Bros was trying to make the Snape and Lily thing shocking, you know, to have a dramatic effect on people. They don't want to give anything away. Not yet. That's why they always delete Snape scenes, because when it comes to the Snape's Memories scene in Deathly Hallows, they want it to be shocking. They want you to not see it coming.

  • @LadyGagaFanatic4life In what way would this scene take away the shock factor of the Snape and Lily thing?

He communicates like a zillion emotions with a look, and we just want to see/feel his communications! He's a true thespian!

  • @LadyGagaFanatic4life sadly that only shocks the people who DON'T read the books xD. I see what you mean, but stiiiiill. They should gather every one of his deleted scenes somewhere.

  • I can't even say how much I wanna hug Severus

  • Ah, poor Sev.That's must be horrible, he know, that he must kill his...friend..:'(

  • wow... love it! o_o

  • This is strange : the lyrics seem to be written for snape

  • Is it just me or are Snape's eyes wet in this scene on the closeup?!?!

  • is it just m eor sre snape's eyes wet in this scene?

  • awwwww poor snape he knows what he has to do and he doesn't want to do it:(

  • This really set the mood for what was about to happen... it's a shame they cut it out. Just saw it on TV and rushed onto Youtube to see if it truly was a deleted scene.

  • @TheDannyDarka It's called In Noctem.

  • Does anyone happen to know the name of the song?

  • I really wish they hadn't deleted this scene!

  • It's amazing how Alan Rickman can control his body. Just with his face he's telling so much. It's a beautiful scene, but there's too much information in it.

  • Great scene, but I'm not suprised they cut it, cause SO many people watch the films without reading the books first, and this gives away Snape's true allegiance with that look he gives xD

  • The best song of Harry Potter ! Really !

  • how the hell could they delete this???????

  • OMFG what an amazing choir-song.I love it:DAnd Snape's face.I nearly cried when I saw it:'(

  • They should have kept it- it's not our fault people don't read the books!

  • I love the choir part in this. That's what get's me the most. And of course Snape. :'( Wish they'd have kept this.

  • that's so sad T.T

  • Lord, Alan Rickman's such an amazing actor. Just that subtle look, and you can see so many emotions running through Snape in such a short time. Amazing. <3

  • A shame that this scene is not in the regular film. And yes, snape appears very vulnerable, so fragile the whole scenery.... I'm really struggleling to keep my eyes dry. :-(

  • I still think they could of kept in this scene but cut out snapes scene.

  • I almost cried while watching this... maybe because I knew what was going to happen.

  • They should have kept that as a "cliff-hanger" for the last two films

  • thnx!!!!

  • such a goood song!!!!!! does anyone kno the name of this song?

  • @fireadria117 It's "In Noctem" composed by Nicholas Hooper

  • @fireadria117 It's called In Noctem by Nicholas Hooper :)

  • I never really like Snape as a child... But when i grew up, I love him ever so much :'( he taught me the convoluted ways of love.

  • If I'm not wrong, this scene has to be after Draco's and Harry fight in the bathroom, since Malfoy is in the hospital wing.

  • seeing this just makes me want to get in the TV and give Snape a hug

  • I don't see the point of deleting this part since it's so catchy and evoking given how Lord of the Rings Films takes forever to end

  • i dont remeber this!!! om,g why did they delete it?!

  • You know what I think? WHY DO THE DELETED SCENES ALWAYS HAVE SNAPE IN THEM??? He was seriously, seriously underused throughout the whole series.

  • @clamzcoolio i know right, excluding the last movie, all the others completely ignored pivotal snape moments that were crucial to the overall story :(

  • @clamzcoolio

Yes!!!! You hane very right!!!! WHY?

  • @Ru66erChicken I agree, but Snape's really not that kind of person...

  • OMG WHY DIDN'T THEY LEAVE THIS IN THE MOVIE!?!?!?!?

  • i love this music..

  • this is actually some of alan rickman's best acting in this scene right here. very believable

  • i want to know the music. i can't believe they cut it out!

  • It is a shame that scenes like this were left out. If you read the books, the last one came out in 2007 and I was amazed at how many people already figured out the plot. That Snape was from an abusive family, had poor social skills, and only one friend (whom the Sorting Hat takes from him), plus all the bullying that happened to him makes you understand why he followed the Slytherin crowd and then the death eaters. He can not love another because he has been too wounded and hurt by his past.

  • You could tell that Snape didn't want to kill dumbledore at 1:05... :'(

At least we knew he died as a hero

  • goddamnit! the music is beautiful!

  • They could at least let the music. :/

  • Was he crying or something?

I thought I saw tears near his left eye. -.-

  • I love this scene it says alot about snape and i reckon this wouldve been one of the most importants scenes in the entire series. i always question why they left it out of the movie

  • @Souvlaki29 I think it would have given too much away for the viewing audience like myself who didn't read the books and was shocked as shit at the events of the last movie. This scene sort of lets you know where Snape's heart really is. such a great scene. by the way is this on the HBP 2 Disc set? I wanna buy it if it is

  • @GrissomLovesSara ur a sluzza

  • i've got goosebumps... This scene says a lot about Snape... Why this scene is deleted from the film?

  • Snape...oh, Snape. Bravest man ever, the one who truly sacrificed his life for the greater good. You can see the desperation and conflict in his eyes. Rips my heart out. The good ones always have to die...

Poor Snape. I will miss him...

  • Poor Snape. You can really see his desperation here; though I can see why this scene was cut.

  • I can read Snape's facial expressions and that one is saying he's desperately crying for help.

  • does anybody knows if the music is available for downloading???

  • @roxutube got it

  • i got major goosebumps while watching this, severus snape makes me want to cry. the scene is just EXCELLENT ! :) (L)

  • NO THIS SHOULD'VE BEEN LEFT IN WHY WHY WHY WHY WAS IT TAKEN OUT IT'S AMAZEBALLS.

  • Brb sobbing.

  • What I wouldn't have given to be in this choir.

  • i will still make my own extended version of all HP movies -____________-

  • What spell have you cast on this!? It's making water come out of my face.

  • @daggersXinXtheXheart Bowlus Onionus

  • @daggersXinXtheXheart Well, someone steals their comments from /r/harrypotter...

  • @OriginalRanose I checked the comments, and didn't see it. Are you sure?

  • @campfirebitchesify It was a different post labeled "made me cry", but the exact same comment. Only mine was 11hrs ago, even had the same response.

  • i wanna go to hogwarts :(

  • Aww he looks so adorable, I just want to go give him a big hug and snog him senseless :')

  • tell me a reason why they left this scene out.....!!!i love alan rickman!!

  • @littlemonsterloveee

This small scene adds leaps and bounds to the plot.and would have given away the true snape and thereby revealing Snape's true alliegance before the (fantastically done) Ending to the section of Deathly Hallows Part 2.Hope that answers your question i to love this scean as well it would have been amazing in the movie but they had there reasons on keeping it out XD

  • Snape took this scene hands down. He's so awesome... And handsome to. Hot, hot man! Alan Rickman steals the show always. Great actor! I wish they'd bring Snape back. His death was so wrong! We miss you Snape! Come back!

  • What an amazing scene.

  • i haven't seen Deathly Hallows 1 or 2 but this film really touched me, i especially feel sorry for Draco, they sooo should have put this scene in the film, the music makes it much more effective

  • @jjaust agreed

  • This small scene adds leaps and bounds to the plot. There was no reason other than vicious editing to take this out of the final version of the film.

  • i guess they deleted this because u could see a lot of snapes real feelings here :O

  • heh I meant to say 'oscars pave the path up to his house' not 'actors' LOL

  • it looked like he was enjoying the music and letting himself get carried away which is a peek into the real Snape to start that we've never seen and then boom the darkness comes and he knows he has to do it. how sad. what a great scene. i think rickman deserves to have 1,000,000 actors pave the path up to his house...

  • oh wow this was gorgeous. I guess they had to omit it given Rickman is so wonderful at conveying emotion that you know he doesn't want to do it. Thankfully someone had the good sense to preserve the scene. I have HBP but no deleted scenes. I guess I need a special set

  • They should have left this in and cut out the whole, random-Death-Eater-attack-on-the-Burrow-that-never-happened-and-just-wasted-time scene.

And I hate how we don't even have more Tom Riddle memories in the deleted scenes.

This was my least favourite movie in the series.

  • Ferte in noctem animam meam... Illustrent stellae viam meam... Aspectu illo glorior... Dum capit nox diem... Cantate vitae canticum... Sine dolore actae... Dicite eis quos amabam... Me nunquam obliturum...

Carry my soul into the night... May the stars light my way... I glory in the sight... As darkness takes the day... Sing a song, a song of life... Lived without regret... Tell the ones, the ones I loved... I never will forget, Never will forget.

  • No wonder they deleted this scene........they reveal too much about Snape's true alligence's at 1:08. You can tell he doesn't want to kill Dumbledore.

  • @sartistman1

I don't think anyone who didn't read the books would have realised it...

Personally, I love this scene, but I agree with deleting it because it wouldn't fit with the action following

  • is this after Dumbledore and Harry back from finding thw horocux?

  • i love the song !

  • THIS SONG SHOULD OF BEEN IN DEATHLY HALLOWS PART TWO

  • @Foretolds It couldn't be, there is no choir in hogwarts in the deathly hallows

  • WHY DID THEY DELETE THIS SO AWESOME

  • @giabread One reason could be because Dumbledore's death would have occured soon after this scene, and Snape's facial expression makes it obvious that he doesn't want to kill Dumbledore, thereby revealing Snape's true alliegance before the (fantastically done) "Prince's Tale" section of Deathly Hallows Part 2.

To put it bluntly, it would have been a massive spoiler for people who had not read the books.

  • when i watched this on my copy of the movie 4 the 1st time, it became my fav pt of the movie, even though it never ended up in it =(

  • This is an amazing deleted scene, and probably the best out of all of the movies. But I am kinda happy it was left out because, to me, it makes it even more special in some way haha.

  • Is this after Dumbledore died?? If so, where is Snape?? He can't be at Hogwarts, lol

  • @sannaols5582 Oh, scratch that. I was rambling. I just remembered that he was still there in the last movie. It's late and I'm tired, lol

  • @sannaols5582 This is BEFORE Dumbledore dies. It is JUST BEFORE he has to go and kill Dumbledore, that is why Draco is in bed; he's about to let the death eaters in.

  • Snape looks so young to me there for some reason...

  • OMG!This scene is so necessary,isn't it!?

  • Yate's was an idiot to leave this out of the film

  • Sev's expression is amazing

  • I think they didn't put it in film, cos they didn't want us to know snape is a good guy until the very end. This scene would have revealed many things. But this is really nice scene! Severus <3

  • I love this song, and I wish they would've put it in :(

  • Cannot stop watching this clip. I ♥ Snape! :D

  • what is Snape doing?

  • @ojamajoyy Staring at the window and saw the sadness o-o

  • @ThoeFuPanda oh... why is he sad?

  • @ojamajoyy I dunno he seemed always sad after that happened to Lily ( she died by Voldemort)

  • que dulzura (snape) me parece entender que en ese momento se da cuenta de que tiene que subir a la torre y matar a dumbledor, lo amo ♥ y aclaro que no soy de la nueva ola de fans yo soy una antigua enamorada

  • if they added this scene, the movie would have been 100x better. Its truly amazing how one little scene can make such an impact. Alan Rickman is a gifted actor.

  • Snape's expression @0:48 broke my heart.

His last words, shattered and scattered the pieces

  • They so should've kept this in! You'd know he was innocent then!

  • ohh.... Snape's face at 1:02 was just soooo... i dont know sadly fantastic its like you see Snape for who he rely is at that moment....

  • So... beautiful...

It truly is a shame that two people are still stuck with sparkling vampires... :(

  • @Nixwissen100 now are three

  • @Amywizardozsorel Too sad... *goes to sulk in a corner of Hogwarts' dungeons*

  • @Nixwissen100 damn! now they are five, his is increasing, it will be better not to lose the time and space with them do not you believe? ;D

  • @Amywizardozsorel I do. Totally. |D

  • I love this!!!! And the music...just perfect!!

  • you can just see how depressed snape is,, you can tell hes dreading what he about to have to do, like crap, im going to have to kill him, its coming,.... you can see the sorrow, that he's not looking forward to it, thanks to his love for lily potter, he ended up hating voldemort because he killed on of his(snape) loves

  • Damn!! Why didnt they put this in??!

  • What does this follow? I saw the movie and all but I'm a bit confused.

  • @TheVasilisas it's right before dumbledore is killed by snape, after he returns at hogwarts

  • I can't help but re watch this it is such a good scene why did they leave it out

  • Is that the face of an evil wizard...? I think not!

  • holy crap. this scene IS BRILLIANT they should have left it in!!

  • Fuck, this scene is great.

  • They should have used this scene to build up the tenson

  • does anyone have the lyrics?

  • this is so beautiful, snape really was thinking in a lot of things about his life on this, he knew that he would have to kill albus dumbledore that night, ALAN RICKMAN IS AWESOME!!

  • I really enjoyed watching this scene all of the emotion on Severus' face really played through

  • poor snape..they definitely should have included this scene...

  • @MMLVER24 It's In Noctem.

  • what song is this? Im looking for it on Itunes

  • @MMLVER24 it's called "In Noctem" by Nicholas Hooper. from the half blood prince soundtrack, hope that helps :)

  • idk why but this makes me cry? but they shouldnt of cut this out!

  • this so scary!!!!! Exactly the sentiments before the battle starts and the death of AB

  • @MrJonZap this...is supposed to be sad^^;

  • @Lilithly -__- I know that! But knowing what's to come in the next year you can't help but feel scared!

  • It broke my heart. Snape TT.TT

  • Oh Severus why do I love you so much?

  • I have never, ever seen such flawless acting before.

Where was this scene supposed to go? And that is Malfoy in the Hospital Wing bed, yes?

  • That SUCKS! That is such a beautiful peice of film why in hades was this not in the movie??! Did you not see Mr. Rickman! Gosh what an actor. Dang movie people are afraid he out shine everyone!! haha Just like he almost did in Robin Hood. Soooo good must have watched it a million times thanks for posting this!!!!

  • I think my heart just broke.

  • Why this scene was deleted?

  • @ElodiaDarkRose It revealed, by Snape's facial actions, that he was a good guy. They didn't want that. They wanted fans of the movie, but not the books to think "SNAPE IS EVIL!" until it's revealed that he isn't, so, they cut this scene.

  • @Jamestopboy I still think they should have included this. It's a subtle scene which would have made his character as problematic for the movie-viewers as the book was for the readers. The whole time we were oscillating between 'is he evil?' and 'is he Dumbledore's man?' until the climactic moment at the Astronomy Tower when it would seem as if he's made up his mind to side with Voldemort. Beautiful acting!

  • A scene so beauty, why was deleted?

  • OMG OMG... SNape :((( huuuu

  • whats this song called? its fantastic!

  • @FemiKhepri

    in noctem

  • @MultiJuly94 thank you!! =D

  • he was feeling bad too? (draco)

  • @kooldude0158 of course. he´s not evil :) actually i was rooting for him to get together with hermione, but ron´s ok too^^

  • who was that in the bed?

  • @kooldude0158 i think it was Draco Malfoy ^^

  • i love Snapes !!!!

  • @stphstrwbrrygl that's a very naive comment. I love Harry Potter but I haven't read the books. Not cause I don't like to read or don't want to, I read everyday and I'm dying to read these, but I was a little kid when harry potter came out as a movie and had never heard of the books. So I decided to see all the movies before I read the books since they often change so much from the books when they're made into movies that it's easier to get disappointed. I understand you, but that's my opinion.

  • what, they cut this?

  • @123hunterpony Yes, he's crying because in the song when you can see that he's crying the lyrics are at: "Made without regret." When means he regrets what he told Lily and that he killed Dumbledore.

  • I wish they would have kept this scene. I cant describe how it made me feel but you could just see how everyone could feel that things were about to change for the worse and that the war was about to begin. That scene was truly the clam before the storm.

  • This is one of the best scenes in the whole movie!!!! Sheer Magic!!.. why the f****** hell did they cut it out!!!

i Think I agree with heyalove.. It showed Snape with emotions, giving away that he did'nt like what was coming...but so what! The audience already knew about Snape's double identity... hrmpf!

  • Amazing how with one facial expression Alan Rickman sums up the whole Snape in 5 seconds

  • @Serpette94 ALL THE AWARDS

  • This is just suberb bit. Too bad, really, that it was taken out. Snape is really awesome. Makes shivers go down my spine.

  • I think that's exactly why it was cut, for people who haven't read the books those 10 seconds of him acting brilliantly would give it all away. (but just my opinion)
