They are playing "Men of Ohio" right? I remember playing this in school. Although they made the mistake of carrying the flag wrong, They where one of the best looking corps in this parade. They did what most other corps forgot to do which is look professional.
some one should hang the director of this Corps. The American flag is to be carried on the RIGHT side of the formation NOT THE LEFT. Shame on you. An angered veteran
As I look at it it is on the right, to be fair at least they carry the flag and of that you should be proud. Here in the UK if you display our flag or even consider walking down the street with it you are called a racist.
Carrying the Union Jack is racist? That's an awful thing to have happening. But the guy carrying the American flag, in America is wrong. Wrong position. An indignity.
It's the Union Flag, a Jack is when its on a ship.
I totally get your point, there are right and wrong ways to do things. Most of the time our flag is upside down, and people don't realise it. My point is, I have been to America and as a nation you are proud of your country and can fly your flag freely, so even though its on the "wrong" side you should be proud that it is being carried. Its not an indignity, its a mistake, and to hang the director of a youth organisation for it, is a bit harsh.
You have your Nazis as do we, the only problem we have that you don't, is they march around using our national flag as their symbol of freedom, meaning if I want to put up a flag then am I as bad as them? So unfortunately it tends to get discarded. please see next point and please don't think that I am attacking you, i don't mean to cause any outrage, im just trying to put my point accross.
