Thanks for taking the time to reply. Yes, the statistics are shocking, aren't they? But then no-one takes stats on happiness or good families, which is one comforting thought. They are out there, but 'we' (humanity) do need reminders that there are "wars" going on right in our street every day for children and women in abusive homes.
