@muffinplz dont do it the way he did... just take a pair of needle nose plyers and put it between the ring and ur lip and open the plyers to spread the hoop it is not hard i did it 2 days after i got mine done because i needed to put n retainers it worked fine good luck

you should have just tried getting needle nosed pliers, put them in and opened them so it opens the ring around the ball without pulling on your lip.....Nice reaction though I watched it over and over haha

I just took mine out I took Scciors ( wrong spelling)lol and put it has close to the ball as possiable and just cut and the ball popped out.. a lot less painful..lol

so i went to the shop and had the guy do it and put a half ring instead.

half rings are more comfortable i can barely tell i have them in now!

if your planning on taking the ball off, but keeping the lip ring in, i dont recommend it, mine fell off, and now my lip ring always comes off. its a pain in the ass.

idk, i take my out easy. the ball just pops out, you dont want it in to tight, usualy i wear my semi circle with spikes much easier

i had to take mine out to get my wisdom teeth out and it came right right for me..

just move the ball down and out of the 2 groovs. its pretty easy to get out.. not so much to get back in tho.

OMG, this is so dangerous and unnecessary! What's done is done, I understand. But, for those of you who watch this and plan on getting a lip ring, please don't use this method if you want to take it out. If you're having trouble, just slide your fingernail between one side of the ring and the ball. It'll pop out easily.

I know it's too late now but you ould have used the pliers to bend the metal in the ring outward a little bit and the ball would have fallen on it's own-no pain.
