please help me, theres a common sound that people scratch to it seems like in almost every scratch vid. i just cant figure out what it is..pleaaasee heellp
I want a system with possibly the most possible features in from hiphop to techno and im between Hercules RMX, Torq Xponent and this system here.Wich is the best?Scratching is important and i hear that Hercules RMX is not good on that.
Not sure about Torq, I've heard good things about the program, but I haven't heard anything about the controller. I just know the Vestax VC!300 and Serato Itch combo is the closest thing to Vinyl control that I've found. Know I'm waiting for Serato to add effects.
Torq is garbage It's so akward to use and the VCI has a sick feel to it like if you don't have vinyl experience try both and you'll choose the glass like thing the VCI has
The two little black plastic screw like knobs on the back, don't turn them with too much force though. I think you should read the manual since you don't know what or where this stuff is.
Not sure what you mean by what I set my VCI300 on! When I purchased it I just uploaded the software, updated it, then plugged the vci in and started scratching. Try adjusting the crossfader curve and/or the latency adjustments on the back of the unit. If this doesn't work, then I'm guessing you just need a mac.
im using a sony vaio laptop with 1.25gb of RAM. what settings do you have your VCI 300 set on? when I try to scratch there seems to be a slight delay with the crossfader. I dont know if this is because of my RAM.

If you want to scratch it's the VCI-300 you need, hands down. Dont waste your money on anything else.

Yeah, but what about the features with techno compared from VCI-300 to Torq Xponent?
