This ad was one of four 30 and 60 second spots released on 24 Sept 2001. They had tags at the end commenting on the difficult time the nation was in just after 9/11. NASDAQ marketing told me the ad music was created specifically for the spots, and not commercially avaiable. The ads were the same except for the different corporate logos on the electronic billboard, representing the top companies of the NASDAQ QQQ 100. Note MCI Worldcom was in the mix.
this commercial was produced by Elias Music, a post-production shop in early 2002. I would love to find the music, cuz i'm not sure if it was a piece written exclusively for the spot.
@robster910 Are you sure it was early 2002? I could have sworn watching this just a few weeks within 9/11 (like around Oct '01), let alone several months from then.
Thank you so much for posting this video. I have been searching for it for years. I thought it was lost forever. Now I just need to find out who did the music.
@hsbmom I see I wasn't the only one! Many of the post 9/11 commercials have stayed with me. I'd like to find the Post Office one, with 'Let the Rivers Run' by Carly Simon.
@calendarpage Yeah I loved this song, I'd get all hyped up whenever this commercial came on! I wonder where the vid poster got it from, because I can't find it anymore. I did download it long ago, but I think it's on a melted hard drive now :-(
Thank you soooo much for posting this! I have been looking for this for years. I used to get chills whenever this came on...love the music!
