Holland is the worst country I have ever lived in, considering I was born there, have lived there for 21 yrs, I'm a dutch citizen. The first weeks when you're in Holland are fun, then you start to realize that the people are so egoistic, the lifestyle is very individual, nobody cares about each other.

I Love KLM Very much..... I love their services and their crew..... very profesional and very helpful in their passengers like in singapore airlines which is very excellent in services than Lufthansa.... Its nice that KLM has had non stop flights now Amsterdam-Manila 12hrs with arrival early mornings.Good for travel onwards via PAL etc within Phils.I travelled several times via KL pit stop before on 747 and arrival in Manila was in the late evening.KLM seems to have this service paying for itself as lots of Pinoy seaman travel on this KLM 777 service.

Only bad thing is NAIA terminal 1 as like a zoo to check in just to check in at the KLM service counter.Always Gate 14 or 15 in Manila...lols

KLM doesn't use -200ERs anymore to Manila. They use the 777-300ER today. Which is more bigger, and has a much longer range than its -200ER sister

the... thing was... in the travel agency they sad to me that i had to confirm the flight one week before... i made it... and arriving at the terminal they offered me 300 dollars if i would choose to take a flight 3 day later.... but i had to go to work on monday... and before boarding the aircraft... i had to wait so i couldn't pass with mi ordinary ticket... the thing is that klm notoriously overbooks their aircrafts... and how would have happend with my 2 flight to munich???

KL is now the only EU airline to serve Manila. The unstable political and economic climate in the Philippines since 1997 has led to UA, BA, LX, AZ, AF and recently LH have pulled out of MNL. KLM sure knows how to treat their customers, definitely much better than AF, even though KLM is not yet BA material. That 777 sure looks great in the KLM wrapper. Did you enjoy that flight, despite the 14 hours in the cramped Economy?

yep, KLM is d only one direct flight from Manila to some parts of europe, kaya it was my first flight from Manila to Schiphol Amsterdam then to Belgium. No direct flight from Manila to Europe, only KLM do that.

All KLM transcontinental (except 747) have PTV in all seats. The service is so so only (you can't complaint nor give praise about it). Meals are adequate but the portion can be petite if you are very hungry (they put it in what they call 'designer' boxes, i must admit the design is nice but when it comes to food, the quality of the food is far more concerning, rite?)

Overall, just like any other European carrier (still far from excellence compared to Asian top carrier)

I just flew with them and I thought it was really nice. The fact that there wasnt any PTVs didnt concern me because i was far too tired to care. I thought the food was a good size portion and it tasted real good, however the breakfast was a bit strange, it was just like a tray of yougurt. Overall i think KLM is abit more then so-so..but it really all depends on your FAs, your routes, etc;
