The Ron Paul Newsletters were FOREVER AGO. and it is the only thing that people have on the guy. WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT HIM!?!?! Think of all the other shit on all the other candidates. This newsletter stuff is a JOKE. Let's get real guys. Let's even pretend that he did write them. People can change over that amount of time. Yes, if this all happened last week, or even a year ago, I would agree that it would be bad, but it's not. It's the only thing people have on the guy.
Were Ron Paul's Newsletters that bad? I read some of what the media calls hateful... and it is about home security post rodney king...Which could mean post mass rioting and not post black rioting... :\ I just have a hard time finding these newsletters online and the media keeps talkin about it but don't wanna show me... I mean they make it seem like N bombs were dropped.
By the way this is exactly what happened in the USSR! If you were an 'enemy of the state,' you would get locked up based solely on the opinion of another
look im from the usa i work in the police .and i tell you we need fema camps for the people.there is not one good man or lady here.start again in the land of the dumb.ps tsa need people..we have done the best we can to get a new hitler but that man ron paul has stoped us at every turn.who would take note of the free man when we are dumb.
and the young turds once again bring up the news letter how about there beloved Obama who sat in Jeremiah Wrights church for over 20 years listening to him spit venomous hate towards white people and constant race baiting as well as reinstating division in a supposed church of god... GTFOH with that....
well if you dont live in the us then you dont understand how powers are abused on a daily basis, its not weather it will be used or not its the fact that it is there, and no NDAA will keep anyone safer than the way domestic and foreign terrorists are detained at guantanamo, and mental retardation is nothing to use as a joke or to put someone down you piece of shit.
I like how Cenk acts like he didn't report on these newsletters years ago, and that somehow they are "new" news, or that he didn't himself debunk them as tarnishing Paul in past episodes of his very show.
I have seen several people including the media saying that it is posible that a broken convention may occur. And the fact that this GOP race has been very unusual makes it more posible
@Jeanluck1 I get the sense that you are not a US citizen, am I correct? You dont seem to be very realistic when it comes to American politics. Just b/c the Libert. Party chairman didn't mention it doesn't mean that's its not a factor, maybe he didn't know. Do you really think that the Libertarian Party would risk whatever little legitimacy it has by nominating someone who thinks the US govt carried out 9/11 as their VP? And no I cant predict the future, but I do have common sense.
@1corpoaratekochwhore [I get the sense that you are not a US citizen, am I correct? You dont seem to be very realistic when it comes to American politics]
Part 1
You know what, I think you are right, I am not behaving like a realistic american, so I most stop to do my own research on internet and start to listen and believe the lies and BS of the MSM, also I must to start to pay more attention on really important issues like gay marriage and abortion (cont)
than other less important things like the wars, Wall Street, the Federal Reserve, civil liberties, etc. And I think that I must vote for Mitt Rommey, after all the guy has a nice hair cut and the MSM said that he will win and alot of americans vote for the winner.
@1corpoaratekochwhore [Just b/c the Libert. Party chairman didn't mention it doesn't mean that's its not a factor, maybe he didn't know]
Now that I remember when i saw the video of that Chairman talking about Ventura he said that he would be a very interesting candidate that would attract the media attention and that he has a “baggage of issues” that might not be appealing to some people in that party.
@1corpoaratekochwhore [Do you really think that the Libertarian Party would....someone who thinks the US govt carried out 9/11]
PART 1
When Jesse was runing for Governor, in that time he beat the Republicans and Democrats, He only use 300 thousands$ in campaing against the millions of the 2 party and won. Sometimes when a celebrity runs for president or Governor, their status help, do you need some examples??
What the worst thing that could happen if Ventura if VP?? That he do a new investigation of 9/11 and find out that it was Osama and his friends who did it?? Big deal, that way alot of people would stop their conspiracy theories. (Cont)
Also I might be a good thing that someone like Jesse be in the govt because that way the people might know some of secret illegal activities that govt has been doing. And before you start to call a Conspiracy theoriest, I have a two things for you: Wikileaks and Bradley Manning case.
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [which preaches to the ignorance of the of some of the voters because they fail to realize that it is the Wall St. bankers that bought the politicians and helped crash the economy.]
Part 2
One of the main reasons that people like RP is because he is not bought and paid by those big interest, actually he is the only one that is not bought and paid for. So if someone like Obama, Netw or Rommey wins the presidency, things will be the same or worst.
@1corpoaratekochwhore [which preaches to the ignorance of the of some of the voters because they fail to realize that it is the Wall St. bankers that bought the politicians and helped crash the econo.]
Part 1
LOL, all the candidates do that
As far as I know, most of the RP supporters knows that, and the ones that still doesn’t know is because they haven done their own research, and it is not just the Banksters who bought the politician, it is the military industrial complex, big pharma etc.
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [It also interesting that you would bring up "the crimes of Wall St.]
Part 2
That does not mean that RP administration would not prosecute those to Groups.
When Dennis Kucinich was trying to impeachment Bush, RP was one of the congressman that voted for it. And if RP wins the presidency there is a good chance that Dennis Kucinich would be in his administration.
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [It also interesting that you would bring up "the crimes of Wall St.]
Part 1
When I said “the crimes of Wall St.” I try to to agroup several things in one frase: Financial Crises 2008, the bailouts, etc. He has mentioned alot of times the cause of the financial crisis 2008 and that it should not have been bailouts to corporations, he certainly don’t used much the word “crimes”, other thing he speak little are the Bush war crimes (cont)
@1corpoaratekochwhore [Its interesting that you would call theses GOP voters "ignorants" because Paul has been doing everything he could to kowtow and appeal to them since the Spring of 2011]
LOL, the only possible way to win the nomination is to try to reach to everybody, and trying to show them the real issues, like the Federal Reserve, that there is no money for more wars, etc.
@1corpoaratekochwhore [Libertarian Party would nominate Ventura. A 9/11 Truther who now resides in Mexico]
Jesse has only said that if Ron Paul ask him to run as his VP he would give a serious consideration, that’s it. One time I see the chairman of the Libertarian party talking about the posibility that Jesse could run in the Libertarian party, He did not mentioned the “9/11 Truther” or “resides in Mexico” issue at any moment, and I dont see how the “9/11 Truther” issue could be relevant.
@1corpoaratekochwhore [Santorum did not get that media attention until he started to rise in the polls. The media was ignoring Santorum up until that point, what do you think caused the media to turn their attention to him?]
He even got more media attention than Rommey, that was way to much considering that he was just in 3º place, What I think really happen there is that every candidate have their "UP" in the polls and he got his "UP" in the end of Iowa primary.
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [Also Paul has made it clear that he will not seek the Libert. Party nomination.]
The media have asked RP that at least 5 times, and he always said that he has “no plans to do it”, but if he definitely will not do that, why the media ask him that so many times? [I would like to see your source for that ME caucus poll] freedomslighthouse. net/2012/02/01/florida-nevada-maine-gop-presidential-nomination-polling-averages-and-results/
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [The only problem with that argument is Paul has more funds than all other GOP candidates, except Romney (combining their funds + Independent groups) ]
The money becomes very relevant when the primarys is in states like Florida: a big state, winner takes “all” and the Ads are expensive to run.
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [Money or no money it is plane to see Ron Paul wont be the nominee, he knows it, its too bad his foolish supporters on YT cant see it.]
Part 1
This GOP race have been very unusual, some candidates have been in the top of the polls and then a few weeks later he is down. Gingrich was down, then he got to the top, then down again, then he won SC....now he is second.
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said[Rick Santorum won Iowa with very little funds and media attention.]
Santorum got alot of the media attention in the final weeks in Iowa, I remember have seen the media making a big deal of him for been in 3º place in the polls, plus some evangelicans endorsement. And Iowa was not like Florida where is a big state, winner takes “all” and the Ads are expencives to run.
@Jeanluck1 [P.1] Santorum did not get that media attention until he started to rise in the polls. The media was ignoring Santorum up until that point, what do you think caused the media to turn their attention to him? I think Santorum is a vile politician but you have to give him credit, he worked that state, visiting every county, you cannot brush that off his victory in defense of Paul. Also, I.m not sure how closely you watch American politics but its insane to think that the
@Jeanluck1 [P.2] Libertarian Party would nominate Ventura. A 9/11 Truther who now resides in Mexico, come on, you should know better. The Republican Party voters are really predictable, there will be no brokered convention. Every since Nixon in 68, they have nominated the runner-up from a previous election. The exception being Bush Jr. in 00. Also Paul has made it clear that he will not seek the Libert. Party nomination. I would like to see your source for that ME caucus poll.
@ViciousOneWon [Its Americans do not think discrimination against women Jews and others should be legal and thats why Ron Paul is getting CRUSHED!]
You are more ignorant than I thought. Even someone watching TYT videos would know that the motive that Mitt Rommey won is because of his campaing been expended 15 Millions $, RP is not been funded by the Big banks or Wall Street, so RP has been campaning in others states, and is expected that he win more delegates that Newt and Rick in this week.
You just Assumed that based on him saying that “I would haven’t voted for the CRA because of Property Rights”.
Your Assumption of RP want to repeal the CRA doesn’t make sense when is compared with the fact that he never tried to do it in the congress and that he never actually said that he would
Why the hell RP hasn’t tried to overthrow anything to CRA in his 15 years in congress? Your Assumption doesn’t make any sense.
@ViciousOneWon [Its not an oppinion Ron Paul wants to repeal the CRA, its fact!]
PART 2
That assumption doesn’t make sense when it is compared with the fact that Ron Paul in all the 15 years in congress never tried to introduce or sponsored a bill to overthrow anything of the CRA. This is a FACT that can’t be denied¡¡
But also RP in his lifetime has never said or wrote that he want to overthrow anything of the CRA.
@ViciousOneWon [Its not an oppinion Ron Paul wants to repeal the CRA, its fact!]
PART 1
Wrong again¡¡, RP opposes only the Title 2 of CRA, and by “simple logic”, one could “Assume” that he wanted to overthrow only the Title II, NOT to repeal the entire CRA.
“Assumptions are not Facts”, You got that??
You make yourself look foolish with your comments.
@ViciousOneWon It's funny to see how much importance you give to that Assumption that RP would repeal the CRA (despite the fact that He never tried to do that before) when your President Obama actually signed the NDAA, and now because of that the govt only needs to make up some story of anyone (critics of the govt.) been terrorist and the military could detaind that person indefinately, you probably would say ”Obama said he wouln’t do that”, that guy is a Big Time liar, his word means nothing
@Jeanluck1 Its not an oppinion Ron Paul wants to repeal the CRA, its fact! Paul says he opposes Title 2 of the CRA "All persons shall be entitled to the full and equal enjoyment of goods, services, facilities, and privileges, advantages, and accommodations of any place of public accommodation, WITHOUT DISCRIMINATION OR SEGREGATION on the ground of race, color, religion, or national origin."
Name a law u think should NOT be law that u also think should REMAIN a law! There isnt one! duh!
Before you invent another ignorant Assumption like “He's waiting the right moment because he knows that congress wouldn't back up him in repeal CRA”
If you see RP record on sponsored bills, you will see that of 400 bill sponsored seems to be that only one passed. So if RP had intended to pass some legislation to overthrow someting in CRA, he would have tried that with or without congress support a long time ago.
@ViciousOneWon [The videos u watched indicate Ron Paul wants to repeal the Civil Rights Act. What do you think OPPOSING is?]
PART 2:
In those videos, when the interviewer ask Ron Paul about the CRA, he always respond that he would haven’t voted for that because of “Property Rights”, that doesn’t necesary mean that he has intention of doing it, if that was his intention he would have try to pass something to overthrow the title II of CRA a long time ago, the guy has been in congress for 15+ years
@ViciousOneWon [The videos u watched indicate Ron Paul wants to repeal the Civil Rights Act. What do you think OPPOSING is?]
PART 1:
Guess what? If Ron Paul wants to repeal the Civil Rights Act. He would have tried that a long time ago. In this same “video” Ron Paul introduce a resolution to repeal the NDAA, he doesn't waste time when he really wants to repeal someting, All those years RP in congress and never trying to repeal the CRA. See what happens when you relying in stupid assumptions.
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [Your love of Paul has you in denial of reality and facts.]
I looked to all the interviews and videos that you mentionated, you are the one that actually dismissing the links I posted (and I think that you don't even look at them) by saying
"those documents mean nothing" or "don't waste your time with your senseless videos that defend the GOP candidates", is that being reasonable? lol
I dont like that Ron Paul denies the letters, he ought to confess and move on as Bryd did. But regardless his platform is the only one I can support at this point.
@kpoff5128 What reasonable person actually believes Ron Paul had NO IDEA what was being written in the "RON PAUL" newsletters that he bragged about on television! LMAO
Its not like there were 1 or 2 articles. There were HUNDREDS of articles over YEARS!And Paul wants us to believe he NEVER read any of them! LOL I call a bullshit! :D
Ron Pau has NO CHANCE! Americans outlawed discrimination 45 years ago! God bless America! Ron Paul want to make it legal again! DOWN WITH RON PAUL!
@Jeanluck1 Hey brother, I never said he was a racist. I am not lazy and have done extensive research on Dr. RP. Prehaps your comments would best be addressed to "ViciousOneWon". The one who does still believe he is a racist.
Newsletters with abhorrent content went out under his name for about 18 months from 1990-1992. The newsletters were published for 20 years. There were 9 out of over 240 newsletters that had bad content. Just want to put a little perspective on it.
@ViciousOneWon Said [thanks 4 the video. It was HILARIOUS]
You want to know something else that is also HILARIOUS?, the conspiracy theory that you created about that when RP becomes president, he will do something that has never said he would do, repeal the Civil Rights Act and somehow will convince the senate and all congress to do that. That's right, All you have to support that is "Assumption and Speculation"...
By the way, there are alot more black people that support RP
@ViciousOneWon Said [thanks 4 the video. It was HILARIOUS]

@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [When a MSNBC anchor on Morning Joe asked him about what he would do with Head Start he got very testy and began criticizing the media.]
LOL, I saw that interview, that only proves that Ron Paul was still in bad humor by one event that happened with the press in NH.....
@Jeanluck1 Your love of Paul has you in denial of reality and facts. Its no point in keeping this going because Paul will never president. I wish you well.
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [No you're wrong, in the speeches I've seen he wavers on SS, Medicare, & Medicaid.]
I have also seen his Speechs and interviews and debates and when they ask him about medicare, SS, medicaid, the response is always that there is no money and it is nesesary to cut foreign and military spending in orden to be able to fund those Programs and then make the transition where people pass to no depende in those programs by improve the economy.
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [It all depends on what kind of audience he is in front of]
LOL, If you would have looked last video, you would have saw the audience screming, booeds, insulting and even a moderator screaming a cuple times in Ron Paul face (I’m not kidding) all because of his position on legalize drugs, Did RP hide his position? NO
In the GOP debates when RP was “booed” 2 times because he doesn’t want to bomb countrys that haven’t attacked US did RP change or Hide his Position? NO
@Jeanluck1 I wasn't referring to the debates, I was referring to his stomp speeches in front of crowds. Not to long ago I had a discussion with some other Paulbots on YT, and he had no clue that Paul wanted to eventually abolish Social Security. Thats because Paul rarely comes out and fully articulates his right wing economic agenda to all of his supporters.
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [I wasn't referring to the debates, I was referring to his stomp speeches in front of crowds]. I've seen several speechs of Him and I've seen nothing wrong, I saw him several times talking about things like welfare, also I've seen people asking him about Social Security, one time I saw a guy in NH asking him what he will do to segure the Rights to free healtcare for everyone, So people must stop been lazy and do research in the polices and historial of the candidates
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [Not to long ago I had a discussion with some other Paulbots on YT, and he had no clue that Paul wanted to eventually abolish Social Security].
PART 1
Please, that only proves that that RP supporter have not researched the polices of Dr RP.
RP will not abolish Social Security immdediatly, first will cut military and foreign spending in orden to balance the budge and secure the fonds necessary for Social Security, Medicaid y Medicare.
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [Not to long ago I had a discussion with some other Paulbots on YT, and he had no clue that Paul wanted to eventually abolish Social Security].
PART 2
Then he will try to improve the economy so that people can obtain the resources to stop been depended in the Federal govt.
watch?v=3qojv1bR-S0 => (RP talk about this with Cenk)
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [ Paul rarely comes out and fully articulates his right wing economic agenda to all of his supporters.].
I don't know where you get from your info of RP but I have seen at least 1 debate and several speechs and interviews were RP says what I said before, so the People must stop been so depend on the MSM and for at least 15 min do some research on internet about the candidates, their polices and record. RP isn't responsable some lazy supporter.
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said[Also, why didn't Paul campaign in Florida?, that is our 4th largest state, what does that say about a politician when he knows his message isn't appealing enough to reach large masses of people.]
Part 1
Someone watching regularly TYT videos would know Mitt Rommey won because of his campaing been expended 15 Millions $, RP is not been funded by the Big banks or some big corporation, Rommey PAC was alredy spent millions in Florida even before the primary in SC finshed
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said[Also, why didn't Paul campaign in Florida?, that is our 4th largest state, what does that say about a politician when he knows his message isn't appealing enough to reach large masses of people.]
Part 2
And there winner takes all Delegates, Should RP campaing with limited resourses compited with the 15 millions of Rommey and the other Millions of Newt where the ads in Florida are very expensive.... that would have been foolish.
@Jeanluck1 Rick Santorum won Iowa with very little funds and media attention. Take a look at some exit polling of GOP voters, they asked them out of all the GOP candidates (I'm pretty sure it was CNN) who would you be least satisfied with, Ron Paul had the highest %. Money or no money it is plane to see Ron Paul wont be the nominee, he knows it, its too bad his foolish supporters on YT cant see it. Also what will be you excuse when Paul does bad in CO, NV, & ME? all caucus states.
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [Also what will be you excuse when Paul does bad in CO, NV, & ME? all caucus states]
PART 1
I saw a poll that shows RP in second in Maine, 6 points behind Rommey, Rommey himself might go down a litlle in the polls for his foolish comment on the poor people.
The reality is that most people in the Republican party are ignorants, they base their vote of how is winning in the polls, how is saying what they want to hear, things with little (cont)
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [Also what will be you excuse when Paul does bad in CO, NV, & ME? all caucus states]
PART 2
importance like abortion or gay marriage, and not considering the REAL issues like the military spending, the crimes of Wall Street, the war crimes, the civil liberties, the corruption in the FDA, etc.
If all the people would spend at least 10 min on internet researching the record of the candidates, the situation would be diferent.
@Jeanluck1 [P.3] Its interesting that you would call theses GOP voters "ignorants" because Paul has been doing everything he could to kowtow and appeal to them since the Spring of 2011. It also interesting that you would bring up "the crimes of Wall St." I have listened to Paul's stomp & debate speeches, he never mentions the crimes of Wall St., he may touch on crony-capitalism a tad bit, but he mainly blames the govt for everything, which preaches to the ignorance of the
@Jeanluck1 [P.4] of some of the voters because they fail to realize that it is the Wall St. bankers that bought the politicians and helped crash the economy. I know you will say that Paul does criticize Wall St, so cite a source in your rebuttal .
@Jeanluck1 [P.2] Also I know the candidate with the most money usually dominates, its clear that Romney is the Wall St. oligarch's chosen one. The only problem with that argument is Paul has more funds than all other GOP candidates, except Romney (combining their funds + Independent groups) [NY Times], Paul & Santorum are fighting for 3rd (how pathetic), and so far Santorum crushing Paul for that #3 spot (I'm referring to FL results and current polling in states that vote in Feb.).
@Jeanluck1 Thats because he is too much of a coward to articulate his extreme views to the fullest, without criticizing the media for distorting his views.
@1corpoaratekochwhore [Thats because he is too much of a coward to articulate his extreme views to the fullest]
If you are talking of Ron Paul, then you are Wrong, Ron Paul has no problem expresing his ideas even if they are unpopular, he has been talking about legalizing drugs since 1987 in that time that was an very unpopular idea, when he was guest in a show 1988s none liked his ideas and yet never change his position even to this day
@Jeanluck1 No you're wrong, in the speeches I've seen he wavers on SS, Medicare, & Medicaid. It all depends on what kind of audience he is in front of. When a MSNBC anchor on Morning Joe asked him about what he would do with Head Start he got very testy and began criticizing the media.
@1corpoaratekochwhore [so if we do get Rand as the GOP nominee down the road he will be more in line than with the Republican Party stablishment on most if not all issues.]
If Rand Paul decides to “Flip Flopp” his main views and become another stablishment candidate, then maybe some co opted tea- party would vote for him, but not the main line RP Supporters, we are not some people that can be co opted, just to look who is been funded by some corporation or big bank, that is a clear sign.
It's ironic that the Young Jerks... I mean Young Turks have the nerve to question Ron Paul on something as silly as the newsletters when their host (Cenk Uygur) wrote several letters in the 1990's denying the Armenian genocide, which killed 1.5 million Armenians. Not only that, but he also named his show off the "Young Turk Movement" that perpetrated the genocide during WW1. You think I'm lying? Go research it yourself. This guy is nothing but a hypocritical progressive (at the very least).
By the way, he never really admited to have writen those newsletters, they put some quotes of Paul said somenting like: “they should be read and quoted intheir entirety to avoid misrepresentation”
Then they made the Speculation and Assumption that he wrote them, Speculation and Assumption are not evidence.
The interview was by phone, the interviewer isn’t even sure that have spoken with paul directly.
Don’t bother to reply this if you are not going to read the Faq.
@Jeanluck1 Don't be a fool, those documents mean nothing. Also Ron Paul brings up the FF, but he decides to never criticize them. And you started sending me post, not the other way around. I'm tired of discussing Paul, so it would be nice if you would refrain from sending me a reply. Paul is a liar and this discussion is irrelevant b/c Paul will never be the GOP nominee and Paul will never be President. He is leaving Congress in 2013, and he will become competently irrelevant.
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [Paul will never be the GOP nominee and Paul will never be President. He is leaving Congress in 2013, and he will become competently irrelevant.]
Even if Paul don’t win and he retires, his messages will be spread and there is still Ron Paul son "Rand Paul” which have the same ideals, and is very likely that he will run for President in 2016
@Jeanluck1 On the issue of foreign policy Rand Paul is far more in lock step with the GOP establishment than his father. I also think that Rand has national ambitions, but he has learned lessons from his father, he knows that the GOP est, will never nominate a libertarian, so if we do get Rand as the GOP nominee down the road he will be more in line than with the Republican Party establishment on most if not all issues.
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [in 08 Ron Paul had the balls to criticize Abraham Lincoln for starting the Civil War (Paul thinks the slaveowners should have been paid to relase the slaves (how stupid & ironic)]
War should always be the Last Resource in a conflict. The British Empire got rid of Slavery by paying the slaveowners to relase the slaves. that should be better that 625.000 deaths. Do you have any idea of the concecuencias of war??
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said[I am referring to the Meet the Press interview when I say he denounced Lincoln.]
I saw that interview, RP talked about Lincoln beacuse the interviewer asked about Lincoln and civil war, then that same interviewer change the subject. But if that person would have asked Ron Paul about the FF he would probably said that they should have ended slavery in the revolution, like when he said that in this interview in mscbc:
Ron Paul delivered 4000 babies. Jerry Seinfeld had an episode about a nervous "moyl" (jewish doctor who circumcises babies, a primitive practice). the Bible lists mass execution of babies by Pharaoh, to reduce "Jews" & other families. castration was also done by rich old religious tribes, who still send us to labor, prison, war, to death by abuse and poverty. reducing males leaves rich men and bosses free to have our wives, daughters, sons, and mothers for sex. - james mcashan for the US Senate
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [Maybe that will get him points with the bigoted White Republican Southern vote, but that's pretty much it.]
lol I have seen many Ads and speechs of Ron Paul, and they never talk about Lincoln, I don`t even remember have hear Ron Paul talking about the Funding Fathers in this year or 2011.... The primary mensaje of Ron Paul is balace the bugde, end foreign spending, Audit the federal reserv, etc.
@Jeanluck1 I am referring to the Meet the Press interview when I say he denounced Lincoln. I found your posts to be quite interesting, the only problem is you ignored/brushed off my main 2 points. 1) Paul praises men for their devotion to liberty, even though they were hypocrites for owning slaves (something Paul fails to acknowledge or mention), but he feels comfortable criticizing Lincoln. 2) You fail to debunk my statement that Paul acknowledged his part in the letters in 96.
Ron Paul thinks that slavery should ended in the revolution, he saids that in this interview in msnbc in 2008:
watch?v=sRx-trdMGtY (they also talk abouth Lincoln)
Said[before you even respond with the "its the Democrats that were racist”]
LOL, why people are wasting time with things like that, when the are more important things like: big banks and Wall street have take over the goverment in orden to continue with their crimes....
@1corpoaratekochwhore said [Paul is disingenuous for writing those letters and for criticizing Lincoln, and ignoring the past (FF slavery)]
RP is anti-war and his main critic of Lincoln are that the war could be avoid, and it was not necesary the war in orden to get rid of slavery, like the other countrys did.
As for the Letters, that’s alredy explainded in the faq I posted here before.
@1corpoaratekochwhore said [don't respond to my comment about Tea Par-tiers rewriting history by saying that some occupiers are "communist"]
The point was that if some morons in the tea party comes up with a dumb idea (like rewrite the history) that does not mean that the all rest of tea parties think the same thing.
@1corpoaratekochwhore Part 3 said[Well than you should know that he considers himself a proud Republican than]
Because of what i said before, from all the other GOP candidates, RP represent what it is a true conservative (or at least the most similar), and every year he has been injecting real issues like the Auditc the fed, the civil liberties, the never ending wars, etc, people are starting to listing in the republican party.
@1corpoaratekochwhore Part2 [You made it seem like Paul tries to run from the GOP label, he doesn't, he embraces it.]
A real conservative means that the Federal goverment main function is to protect the liberties, small goverment, not to be the policemen of the world , to follow the constitution, etc. And the other GOP candidates do not represent that (except RP), they represent the Neocons (and of course the Big Bank and Wall Street).
@1corpoaratekochwhore Part 1The current way of thinking of the Republican Party is no the way that should be, after 2001 the Neocons take over, and now be conservative basicaly means small goverment (that is what the GOP says but they lie) cut tax to the rich, be the police of the world and lose the civil libertys for the “war on terror”. So the current GOP in reality represent the Neocons(new conservative), except RP.
@1corpoaratekochwhore said[Do you know anything about Paul other than the propaganda videos that his supporters put up on YouTube?] I have seen interviews in Cnn, Msnbc, Fox News, Fox Business, etc from 2007 to now (i saw the meet the press interview 23/12/2007), i have even seen some videos and interviews from 80s and 90s. I also have seen all the debates of this race (some small videos of 2008 race), speechs in Iowa, NH and SC, all the TYT videos of Ron Paul and some Radio interviews.
@Jeanluck1 Well than you should know that he considers himself a proud Republican than, since you have seen all his debate performances. You made it seem like Paul tries to run from the GOP label, he doesn't, he embraces it.
LoL, you could also choose to wait for the goverment deliver the proofs.
[We are both in the same position of not having all the information and having to make an educated guess] Well those "US People" have more "Years in Experience in Foreign Policy and Inteligence and Conctacs" than you, and they analyse the information before make Judgments, Keep that in mind
where did you get that if the info come from Foreign People then is a lie??
@Jeanluck1 [p.3] he is going to denounce Lincoln. Paul is disingenuous for writing those letters and for criticizing Lincoln, and ignoring the past (FF slavery). Maybe that will get him points with the bigoted White Republican Southern vote, but that's pretty much it. Also, before you even respond with the "its the Democrats that were racist" line, another right wing YouTube tactic, remember that most of the racist southern white Democrats became Republicans between the 60s-80s.
@ViciousOneWonSaid [when Bin-Laden died does not change the fact that Ron Paul ]
This Osama thing have nothing to do with RP, What make you thing it was?
I'm just waiting for the proofs that the goverment said it have, but until then as far as I concern, Osama could have been blow up in little pieces by a US bomb yeras ago.
And i haven't choose to believe Foreign
Said [And ur conspiracy theory about when Bin-Laden]
Those are no my "theorys" I put those people because you said (Choose US People).
saw the start of video about paul + his newsletters. ok thats your opinion but I can't support a guy that hired someone (Holder) who allowed a program where drug cartel criminals were allowed to walk with guns. these guns are connected with murders in mexico and US, eg the US border patrol agent. Then they blame the 2nd amendment for the gun violence when that the very same time allow and facilitate these crims to get guns. the program was under his admin/name.
@1corpoaratekochwhore One last thing, people think that the civil war purpose was to end slavery, that’s wrong, it was about the Union. Acording to the Congress.
history. com/this-day-in-history/congress-passes-crittenden-johnson-resolution
And Lincoln may not like slavery as a kid, but apparently he did not like the black people:
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [Paul to criticize Lincoln (Meet the Press) and never... the Founding Fathers] Actually he was not asked about Funding Fathers, it was about Lincoln. In this interview Paul saids that slavery should ended in the revolution.
watch?v=sRx-trdMGtY
Lincoln attempt to pass a 13th amendment -- one that would enshrine slavery as the law of the land, what a nice guy huh
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [Why are the Tea Par-tiers trying to rewrite and/or ignore America's history?] the Tea Party was co opted Big Time (at leas 60%). But if some morons thing of rewrite and/or ignore America's history, doesn’t mean all they want that, like the fact that some Occupiers are Comunist that doesn’t mean that all them are comunist.
Said [Founding Fathers that Ron Paul praises so much] because they give the constitution that was no perfect but it have the tools to be fixed.
@1corpoaratekochwhore Said [In 1996 in the Dallas Morning News, Paul acknowledged the...] Actually that article is also explainded in the Faq I posted before. As for the videos, the last one "RP gave Free medical service to the wife of a black man where none else would in the 70s" there is no way that he would do that if he was a racist.
[that defend the GOP candidate] lol, RP is in the Republican party because of the 2 party dictatorship, where one 3 party has no chance.
@Jeanluck1 [p.1] You don't know what you're talking about. Ron Paul has kowtowed to GOP voters endlessly throughout the GOP primary season (it hasnt worked to well though), comparing himself to Sen. Taft "Mr. Republican" as Paul referred to him as. He says that he holds the true principals of the GOP. Do you know anything about Paul other than the propaganda videos that his supporters put up on YouTube? And I dont know what site you went to, he acknowledges his bigotry in the site...
@Jeanluck1 [p.2] that I went to. And I know that you are more intelligent then that, don't respond to my comment about Tea Par-tiers rewriting history by saying that some occupiers are "communist". Whenever a conservative or libertarian has nothing substantive to write they use the 'C' word, come on its getting old. And that does not change the fact that the founders were ultimate hypocrites to have held slaves, Paul should acknowledge that after he praises them, especially if...
@MrSephihroth There are about 30M people in the US public sector (non-mil). Ron Paul plans to cut that to almost nothing. That will push up employment without question in the short and medium term. This is why Ron Paul will cost jobs. Remember you said "Give me some proof that Ron Paul will be a cause of less jobs." there you have it.
"Those guy would probably start to doing some worthy" - Irrelevant & inapplicable to your Q. even if true.
@VilanAlarga Civil Rights is a extremely major issue and Cenk is right to oppose Paul because of it. I like most of what Paul says also, but I cannot support someone that thinks discrimination against women, Jews, and others should be legal! I think his opposition to the Civil Rights Act is the primary reason he cant get enough votes to win a primary. He cant oppose such a wonderful law and expect the American people to elect him president. Its just not going to happen.
It's fine that you don't support him. It's fine that Cenk doesn't support him. ITS NOT FINE TO LIE or to BUY INTO and PERPETUATE the lies of the corporate mainstream media.
As for your (mis)understanding of his civil rights they are flawed and goes to show that you have not delved deeper into the context of the philosophy of freedom. These are typically out of context misrepresentations or misunderstandings of his stance on civil liberties.
Also, the main point is that we are all protected by the constitution and that makes further laws superflous (if the constituion was upheld and not ignored or undermined).
Paul wants everyone to be protected as individuals, not as groups - whether that be based in sexual, gender, ethnicity, culture, religion, ideology or any other kind of lumping together. If a group is singled out it is on the expanse of another.
Everyone should have all protections no matter who as an individual
@VilanAlarga Ur claim that I'm lieing is easily dealt with. :D
Just search "Ron Paul Civil Rights Act" on utube to get ENTIRE VIDEO TAPED INTERVIEWS of Ron Paul saying he opposes Title 2 of the Civil Rights Act "All persons shall be entitled to the full and equal enjoyment of goods, services, facilities, and privileges, advantages, and accommodations of any place of public accommodation, WITHOUT DISCRIMINATION OR SEGREGATION on the ground of race, color, religion, or national origin." U lose!
Im not claiming u r lying. I believe u r duped. But the racist claims are lies. Its a media hit piece.
As for Pauls positions, they are no secrets. He is open with them, he has had them his entire life and theyb are on his voting record. In fact, he is running his campaign on them. The problem is that they are getting spinned out of context.
He is protecting EVERYONES rights - civil liberties - this is what u fail to understand.
@VilanAlarga I just quoted Title 2 of the Civil Rights Act. The title ONLY applies to bigots and racists because ONLY bigots and racists would discriminate based on race, sex, color, religion, and natl origin. Ron Paul opposes Title 2 because he thinks bigots and racists dont have enough property rights to discriminate against women Jews blacks and others!
Americans dont want to legalize discrimination so we OUTLAWED IT! Thank God! And Ron Paul cant expect to win as long as he opposes us!
With this new bill I don't see any difference between a Iraq/Iran and all these dodgy countries with no free speech and liberty. I mean the only difference is that the US has higher earnings per capita but in terms of liberty and freedom the US is going down...
i watched a talk yesterday and there was a guy who grew up under the Pinochet regime and he said the media propaganda there was nothing compared to in the US now! thats crazy, its supposed to be the closest example of a free society you can get!
with the people not researching things like the NDAA and SOPA properly themselves and taking what the prestitutes on cnn, fox, msnbc etc say, thats really worrying! the media are a huge problem!
UNCONSTITUTIONAL LAWS cannot TOUCH the Constitution. Google this in quotes: What to do about Unconstitutional Acts - National Defense Authorization Act 2012 (NDAA)
Who cares about the stupid newsletter. Even if Ron Paul at one time believed those things, he doesn't now (if he ever did). Can people not change? Didn't some of the most racist segregationists in the 1960s later realize their error in their ways and become strong advocates of integration?
@ViciousOneWon "How does outlawing discrimination by everyone give special treatment to anyone?”
According to Ron Paul: Federal bureaucrats and judges cannot read minds to see if actions are motivated by racism.
Bureaucrats began forcing employers to hire by racial quota. Racial quotas have not contributed to racial harmony. Instead, these quotas encouraged racial balkanization, and fostered racial strife.
@Jeanluck1 Ron Paul opposes Title 2 of the Civil Rights Act and NO WHERE in Title 2 does it talk about quotas. So u dont know what ur talking about. Ur so blinded by Pauls anti-war anti-bank anti-NDAA ideas (which I agree with him on) that ur blinded to his other EXTREMELY RADICAL idea that would hurt our country!
Ron Paul thinks discrimination against women and Jews should be legal. Thats INSANE! And thats why he continues to lose!
@ViciousOneWon [Ron Paul thinks discrimin....Thats INSANE]
Insane things are already happening. All the kids and families killed and the ones that are going to die by US Bombs, billions$ expended in uncostitucional wars like the war in Irak in which Saddan have nothing to do with Al Qaeda, etc.
With all welfare & the wars spending and the crimes of big banks and/or Wall Street (many others things) could make the system collapse, this without mention a posible war with Iran.
@Jeanluck1 I said "Ron Paul thinks discrimination against women and Jews should be legal. Thats INSANE!" and ur reply was "Insane things are already happening" then u started to list them. I dont get ur point.
But my point is that most Americans are not willing to allow Ron Pauls insane idea that discrimination agaist women should be legal because he has some good ideas about the wars, etc.
Discrimination against women was OUTLAWED 45 years ago and we will not return to it! :p
The point is: there are things hapening right now that are far more important than repeal the Title II of Civil Rights Act (which RP has never said he will if he was president) And RP would need the support of the congress to do that, and they will never allow that to happen.
@Jeanluck1 I respect that u think Ron Paul believes repealing the CRA is not important. However I dont agree! The CRA is 1 of our MOST IMPORTANT laws and Ron Paul opposes it! Millions of Americans like me will not take the chance that the candidate that thinks discrimination againt women and Jews should be legal, will not attempt to make it so!
U can take that chance but we wont! And thats why Ron Paul loses! U cannot oppose the American people and win the presidency at the same time! ;)
@ViciousOneWon Said[guess u figure u couldnt defend Ron Pauls quest to legalize discrimination]
Actually RP has never said that he is in a quest to legalize discrimination, what he said before is that he would have not voted the civil rights act because of property rights issue. And even if RP somehow manage to repeal the CRA, it would be only the Title II (the one he opposes), which means that public school, hospitals, the military, police, etc. Will can not do discrimination.
@Jeanluck1 We already know Ron Paul thinks bigots and racists dont have enough property rights. But the American people dont think discrimination against women and Jews should be legal. Thats Pauls problem. He cant convince enough Americans that legalizing discrimination will make our country better! Because it wont!
It seem the difference in our arguments is that u agree with Paul that bigots and racists should be given more rights to discriminate. Because thats what repealing Title 2 does!
@ViciousOneWon Said [He cant convince enough Americans that legalizing discrimination will make our country better! Because it wont!]
He don't need to do that Because "that is not his intention", if that was his intention he would have said by now someting like :"when I become president I will repeal the Title II of Civil Rights Act" he hasn't said that never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never
Show me a link where RP said that he will repeal the Title II of CRA.
@ViciousOneWon Said [It seem the difference in our arguments is that u agree with Paul that bigots and racists should be given more rights to discriminate]
I am Neutral for the Title II
Said [Paul that bigots and racists should be given more rights to discriminate. Because thats what repealing Title 2 does!]
@Jeanluck1 Thanks 4 the video. It was HILARIOUS! The moderator actually thinks life in America was better when discrimination against women Jews and blacks was legal! The funny part is that HES BLACK! LMAO I mean, he's arguing againt his own best interests! Good lord what a moron. But no one every said Conservatives were rational people. haha
Ron Paul will never win with supporters like that guy! He doesnt understand u have to HIDE Ron Pauls true beliefs, not shout them out! :D
The Ron Paul Newsletters were FOREVER AGO. and it is the only thing that people have on the guy. WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT HIM!?!?! Think of all the other shit on all the other candidates. This newsletter stuff is a JOKE. Let's get real guys. Let's even pretend that he did write them. People can change over that amount of time. Yes, if this all happened last week, or even a year ago, I would agree that it would be bad, but it's not. It's the only thing people have on the guy.

As far as I know, most of the RP supporters knows that, and the ones that still doesn’t know is because they haven done their own research, and it is not just the Banksters who bought the politician, it is the military industrial complex, big pharma etc.

I don't agree with Cenk about everything, but sometimes he just nails it.
When he says "But we don't know if they're terrorists" it's spot on,
It;s a vicious cycle. "You're a terrorist, so we're gonna imprison you because you have no rights. "
"But I'm not a terrorist."
"How do we know that"
"Gimme a trial, you'll see"
"Well you don't get a trial because you're a terrorist."
And it goes on.
You could say that for any criminal, the whole point of a trial is we don't know if they're a criminal.

Jeanluck1 3 weeks ago
@ViciousOneWon [Its not an oppinion Ron Paul wants to repeal the CRA, its fact!]

“Assumptions are not Facts”, You got that??
You make yourself look foolish with your comments.
Jeanluck1 3 weeks ago
@ViciousOneWon It's funny to see how much importance you give to that Assumption that RP would repeal the CRA (despite the fact that He never tried to do that before) when your President Obama actually signed the NDAA, and now because of that the govt only needs to make up some story of anyone (critics of the govt.) been terrorist and the military could detaind that person indefinately, you probably would say ”Obama said he wouln’t do that”, that guy is a Big Time liar, his word means nothing

@Jeanluck1 Its not an oppinion Ron Paul wants to repeal the CRA, its fact! Before you invent another ignorant Assumption like “He's waiting the right moment because he knows that congress wouldn't back up him in repeal CRA”

To tell you the truth, i don’t care at all if it’s Republican or Democrat.
What i care about RP is:
* RP vote and do what he says and follows the constitution for more than 20 years.
* RP hasn’t been bought and paid by Wall Street, The Big Banks or the Military Industrial Complex.
* RP polices like End the wars, End war on drugs, audit FED, etc.
And I know that are good people in the democtrats, but they are not running.
Jeanluck1 1 month ago
@1corpoaratekochwhore Part 3 said[Well than you should know that he considers himself a proud Republican than]
Because of what i said before, from all the other GOP candidates, RP represent what it is a true conservative (or at least the most similar), and every year he has been injecting real issues like the Auditc the fed, the civil liberties, the never ending wars, etc, people are starting to listing in the republican party.
Jeanluck1 1 month ago
@1corpoaratekochwhore Part2 [You made it seem like Paul tries to run from the GOP label, he doesn't, he embraces it.]
A real conservative means that the Federal goverment main function is to protect the liberties, small goverment, not to be the policemen of the world , to follow the constitution, etc. And the other GOP candidates do not represent that (except RP), they represent the Neocons (and of course the Big Bank and Wall Street).
Jeanluck1 1 month ago
@1corpoaratekochwhore Part 1The current way of thinking of the Republican Party is no the way that should be, after 2001 the Neocons take over, and now be conservative basicaly means small goverment (that is what the GOP says but they lie) cut tax to the rich, be the police of the world and lose the civil libertys for the “war on terror”. So the current GOP in reality represent the Neocons(new conservative), except RP.

Again with the newspapers. Cenk, do your homework. You agree with Paul on 90%, and the stuff you bitch about IS NOT HIS VIEWS and he DID NOT WRITE.
You disagree genuinely on economy. Fair enough. Stick to that, and don't diss him on stuff which isn't his positions.

@ViciousOneWon

VilanAlarga 3 weeks ago
Also - Paul has NOT opposed it. He has just said that it should be superflous.
And his son Rand has explicitly stated that he would vote for it and defend it.

@ViciousOneWon
Its called the constitution. Read it

As for loosing - 99% of the people loses without Paul winning the presidency. This includes you.
VilanAlarga 3 weeks ago

@kotapaka lol...iran has free press!
i watched a talk yesterday and there was a guy who grew up under the Pinochet regime and he said the media propaganda there was nothing compared to in the US now! thats crazy, its supposed to be the closest example of a free society you can get!
with the people not researching things like the NDAA and SOPA properly themselves and taking what the prestitutes on cnn, fox, msnbc etc say, thats really worrying! the media are a huge problem!

Jeanluck1 1 month ago
@Jeanluck1 I said "Ron Paul thinks discrimination against women and Jews should be legal. Thats INSANE!" and ur reply was "Insane things are already happening" then u started to list them. I dont get ur point.
But my point is that most Americans are not willing to allow Ron Pauls insane idea that discrimination agaist women should be legal because he has some good ideas about the wars, etc.
Discrimination against women was OUTLAWED 45 years ago and we will not return to it! :p

@ViciousOneWon said [I dont get ur point]
The point is: there are things hapening right now that are far more important than repeal the Title II of Civil Rights Act (which RP has never said he will if he was president) And RP would need the support of the congress to do that, and they will never allow that to happen.
Why is that so dificult to understand?
Jeanluck1 1 month ago
@Jeanluck1 I respect that u think Ron Paul believes repealing the CRA is not important. However I dont agree! The CRA is 1 of our MOST IMPORTANT laws and Ron Paul opposes it! Millions of Americans like me will not take the chance that the candidate that thinks discrimination againt women and Jews should be legal, will not attempt to make it so!
U can take that chance but we wont! And thats why Ron Paul loses! U cannot oppose the American people and win the presidency at the same time! ;)
ViciousOneWon 1 month ago
@ViciousOneWon Said[guess u figure u couldnt defend Ron Pauls quest to legalize discrimination]
Actually RP has never said that he is in a quest to legalize discrimination, what he said before is that he would have not voted the civil rights act because of property rights issue. And even if RP somehow manage to repeal the CRA, it would be only the Title II (the one he opposes), which means that public school, hospitals, the military, police, etc. Will can not do discrimination.
Jeanluck1 1 month ago
@Jeanluck1 We already know Ron Paul thinks bigots and racists dont have enough property rights. But the American people dont think discrimination against women and Jews should be legal. Thats Pauls problem. He cant convince enough Americans that legalizing discrimination will make our country better! Because it wont!
It seem the difference in our arguments is that u agree with Paul that bigots and racists should be given more rights to discriminate. Because thats what repealing Title 2 does!
ViciousOneWon 1 month ago
@ViciousOneWon Said [He cant convince enough Americans that legalizing discrimination will make our country better! Because it wont!]
He don't need to do that Because "that is not his intention", if that was his intention he would have said by now someting like :"when I become president I will repeal the Title II of Civil Rights Act" he hasn't said that never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never
Show me a link where RP said that he will repeal the Title II of CRA.
