FYI, and I see this a lot on you tube, the auto focus on most cameras is infrared and black absorbs it (i.e. will have trouble focusing) I found this out years ago trying to video a black car, anyway try turning off the auto focus when shooting black faced radios and such.

What is a Galaxy DX99V worth used?

hey I've had a 99 that I bought new about 8 years ago. it has a 3 position Roger Beep switch. I cant figure out what the 2nd position is for or does. It's off-IDK- and R.B.

Is that how they made them?

@chris1422 ummm that is strange as you see in the picture there is only two position switch on this radio always has been for as long as i can remember there is a echo,vc, robot sorry i cant be of more help on that one but sounds too me like if there is 3 position switch some one modified it lol

@allenward69 . I bought it new and other than the 11meter mod it's stock. I can't figure out what it does. Maybe they were out of 2 osition switches when they built it?

yea there is filters on both but yea them blue are bright but there is a variable dimmer on this radio do dim to your likings well talk to you later
