Risa i think your make up skills are SO amazing and i cant believe you didnt even go to school. Ive seen pictures on your blog and the looks are so inspiring and impressive. Awesome! I tried this look today although I did not have a few of the products so I used Nocturnelle and Shadowy Lady instead of the Burnt Burgundy pigment and only Bitter eyeshadow. So, it wasn't as dramatic as yours :( however, it looked pretty wicked!

oh!! You didn't reply to my other comment, just left a new one so I didn't know what you meant. Eyeshadow goes before foundation/concealer because of potential fallout. Why perfect foundation when you could mess it up? Some people put extra powder under the eyes - why? I'd rather avoid any mess by doing eyes first :)

I've always wondered if it's tough or not to work your foundation around your nose piercing. Because I'm getting my nose pierced and I'm just wondering because I don't wear too much foundation, but just some on my nose and around it because I have redness there. So I don't know, if you answer this thanks. :D

It was hard for me. My piercing kept getting infected so Ih ad to stop wearing any type of makeup on my nose until it healed, you might have to do the same. Hope I helped.

Well I never had a problem. Though I don't really remember. Mine has been pierced for 10 years now but I never had infections or anything like that. Just use a brush and go around it :)

love this, I love how you use complementary colors! I am so inspired by your looks! You make me want to have purple lips! This reminds me of last fall's Cult of Cherry collection by mac, and you do it better than they do! MUFE smokey lash is supposed to be a matte black(super dark) mascara, so if you feel like spending money, that might be worth checking out.

there is no similar color that I know of. Vibrant Grape would be the closest but the quality is horrible in comparison. MAC at one point made a pigment (purple matte) that was similar but it's long discontinued. Try using other lines besides MAC ;)
