It's immoral that basic healthcare isn't part of the package of living in America. Divorce it NOW from employment; that emerged from a gross distortion in the tax code. The bright line is clear: K-12 education, primary healthcare, police protection and fire protection should all come from our taxes. Period.

And as for structuring health insurance: ONE RISK POOL for all Americans, meaning ONE RATE regardless of age, gender or health status. Nobody chooses to be sick, or old, or female. Sheesh.
