God Bless all these men who died & those who survived. My grandfather is 92 years old & fought in WW 2 on the USS Langley as a gunner, he shot down many planes that tried to crash into his ship. He's still going strong & has many war stories to tell.

@0willsy01 Yes the Tactics were Similar, However WW2 Tanks Divisions,Air-Force was everything. The Germans didnt have Tanks in WW1 and Air-Force wasnt seen as Vital weapon. And there was 250,000+ British Troops in France,Belgium,Norway 1940 and most were evacuated(Saved). Show me your links that 500,000 British soldiers died in 1940???

Actually this film is a real one made by war film journalist. Maybe @proton45 is not aware of the real situation in war. In Hollywood films, we always see the soldier actors scream here and there in very dramatic ways. In real war times, it's not that dramatic as it looks on the soldiers face. Well, if you knew as much as you claim about WWII, you would know that we dropped the Atom Bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki to try to prevent an all out invasion of Japan, which in turn would save thousands of American and Brittish lives. Brittain certainly wasn't worried about the thousands of civilians it was help killing everyday in the bombing runs over Germany. It was war. People die in wars.

Actually The Brits did need the US or they would have lost the war. Thats why Churchill wanted the US to join the war so badly. I had a neighbor who was a WW2 vet for the British. He also said the war would have been lost without the help of the US. At one time the French was on the side of Germany. So the French do owe the US and other countries for their help.
