I'm hearing, taking ASL, always loved ASL since 6 yrs old (so, 40 yrs now, grin). I, too, had same thought about music, which I know isn't good ... don't dislike me for being honest, please :0). Now, with YOUTUBE, IF Hearing take time to search, can UNDERSTAND that Deaf DO enjoy music, make videos. Change takes long time, U R helping! PEACE
I am a hearing person, and I have my degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
We were required to take a class on "Deafness and Society" and one of our guests was a Deaf woman who said she loves music-by-vibration. The funny part, this 45 year old white woman said she drives around listening to DMX, Nas, Jay Z, and other rappers, full blast, and gets looks from other cars all the time.
If only I knew ASL better. You're a cool guy. I want to follow without translation.
