  • my favourite hymn on Easter morning as well. Thank you so much ... well done!!!!! from Canada

  • Beautiful. Thank you. I am in Athens away from home in the States while my husband is undergoing chemo, and hearing this, my favorite hymn, on Easter morning, gives me such strength and support. Blessings, and thank you. You have definitely made my day. Alelujia!.

  • My most favorite holiday, even more than christmas! When Jesus Christ rose from the dead"

  • Nicely done! You can really play the organ well!

  • A lovely hymn, very well played...just comment on the music guys...

  • CHRIST IS RISEN!!!

  • The fortunate combination of a great pipe organ, a talented musician and a wonderful hymn produces one of the most beautiful sounds this side of Heaven, Thank you for this video. It's very inspiring!!

  • That organ reminds me exactly (visually and audibly) of the organ in my church growing up in Illinois. Not sure if Hill did anything in the US, but the time period is right. My church was remodeled in the mid 1920's.Brings back joy =) Perfect rendition by the way!

  • Oh i think i read tormus's comment wrong, even so, the church was originally built in the 1870's, so it still works lol

  • Merci Monsieur Norman !

  • What a beautiful organ. Sounds like a Hill to me?

  • It is a Hill opus 1923 built in 1885 and was restored. You can see the specification, history and my photos if you google 'St John's Darlinghurst'. We have quite a number of important Hill organs in New South Wales.

  • Christ is risen today. Alleluia!

  • La paix soit avec vous.

  • Why do you attack other peoples' faith just because you don't agree?

  • A reminder to all users, please do not feed the troll (SteveWrathall). Thank you, have a nice day.

  • You are a real organist! Thank you for sharing!

  • great video. I love this song.

  • Swedish text:

Livet vann, dess namn är Jesus, Halleluja!

Han var död men se, han lever, Halleluja!

    Dödens portar öppnar han, Halleluja,

nyckeln ligger i hans hand, Halleluja!

  • Wonderful!!!!!!

  • good job

  • wunderschönes instrument ;-)

  • He has risen indeed. Peace be to all.

  • and may peace be with you.

  • Jesus is Lord !!!!

  • the true Christian Church had to exist ever since the Apostolic era. none of these protestant sects has been around that long

  • Praise God that it is the same Jesus Christ who saved us, and that in Him we are united as brothers hey. God bless you this easter.

  • That sounds like a rather self-righteous and judgemental statement, coventrygardens. Are you insinuating that your branch of Christianity is THE one and only correct branch. Because THAT is EXACTLY the type of attitude that creates separations in the Body of Christ. Catholic or Protestant or Orthodox...we ALL praise the same God and Saviour.

  • Great Job, God Bless

  • Thanks for sharing this. I and many other appreciate it! :) God bless you.

  • I love it! Wish I could be there to see and hear it live. Video sometimes distorts sound I am sure it sounded great if we observed it live. May God continue to bless this guy that is playing.

  • Nice playing and musical, singing phrasing. Shame the reeds are a mile out! mind you I'd hate to try and tune with the temperature and humidity in Australia.

  • what a nice old guy, and such nimble fingers, plays the organ like a 25 year old experienced organist, bravo!

  • nice footwork! :D

  • wow.

    I love the organ :)

  • This was so pleasing to the ear and heart. Yes, He is risen indeed!

  • Wonderful to hear. I attend a small church with no choir and only a piano to accompany. I appreciate. More, please.

  • Good to hear some hymns on an organ once in a while. My church doesn't do it enough, with this new "contempory worship" movement. Thanks for posting.

  • Absolutely wonderful.

  • Very beautiful rendition of the popular "Easter Hymn." I always love hearing this at church on Easter Sunday and it is one of my special favorites.

  • good song, but i'm jewish

  • So was Jesus. : )

  • exacly he was king of the jews.

  • My thanks too. One of my favorite hymns. Nostalgia of my youth.

  • Thanks for the great video. I love this song.

  • Nice. Like the legato sound.
