The billions who are rotting in eternal HELL cannot get strength from god to deal with the everlasting torture, even Jesus himself cries when he thinks about it, the flames scorch the flesh from the bones and the damned scream in agony, they scream and beg for death but god cannot allow that, they are forced to endure the eternal torment for not being saved, they are also forced to witness their own grown children tortured in HELL,its justice, god is just, its just the way GOD works.
Beautiful. Thank you. I am in Athens away from home in the States while my husband is undergoing chemo, and hearing this, my favorite hymn, on Easter morning, gives me such strength and support. Blessings, and thank you. You have definitely made my day. Alelujia!.
The fortunate combination of a great pipe organ, a talented musician and a wonderful hymn produces one of the most beautiful sounds this side of Heaven, Thank you for this video. It's very inspiring!!
That organ reminds me exactly (visually and audibly) of the organ in my church growing up in Illinois. Not sure if Hill did anything in the US, but the time period is right. My church was remodeled in the mid 1920's.Brings back joy =) Perfect rendition by the way!
It is a Hill opus 1923 built in 1885 and was restored. You can see the specification, history and my photos if you google 'St John's Darlinghurst'. We have quite a number of important Hill organs in New South Wales.
That sounds like a rather self-righteous and judgemental statement, coventrygardens. Are you insinuating that your branch of Christianity is THE one and only correct branch. Because THAT is EXACTLY the type of attitude that creates separations in the Body of Christ. Catholic or Protestant or Orthodox...we ALL praise the same God and Saviour.
I love it! Wish I could be there to see and hear it live. Video sometimes distorts sound I am sure it sounded great if we observed it live. May God continue to bless this guy that is playing.
Nice playing and musical, singing phrasing. Shame the reeds are a mile out! mind you I'd hate to try and tune with the temperature and humidity in Australia.

Oh i think i read tormus's comment wrong, even so, the church was originally built in the 1870's, so it still works lol

"Risen"??
Don't you mean "wizened"?After all, that corpse has been rotting for 2000 years.

Why do you attack other peoples' faith just because you don't agree?

The same reason I "attack" people's views on economics, art, sport, family etc, with which I don't agree. BECAUSE I DON'T AGREE!!
Why should religion be immune to criticism?

Why is criticism of religion "trolling"? I repeat- why should religion be immune to criticism?

Swedish text:
Livet vann, dess namn är Jesus, Halleluja!
Han var död men se, han lever, Halleluja!
Dödens portar öppnar han, Halleluja,
nyckeln ligger i hans hand, Halleluja!

Wonderful to hear. I attend a small church with no choir and only a piano to accompany. I appreciate. More, please.

Good to hear some hymns on an organ once in a while. My church doesn't do it enough, with this new "contempory worship" movement. Thanks for posting.
