Hi! Thank you for this useful video. By the way, I hear many people keep on talking about Kinovelax Diet Plan (google it), but I'm not sure if it is good. Have you considered Kinovelax Diet Plan? I have heard some great things about it and my cooworker lost a lot of weight with it, but she refuses to tell me :(
I'd like to discover if anybody seen of DietOramy eating plan (google to find out more)? I've discovered about this from a friend who really already lost lots of excess fat, however he is sort of a fanatic, so is there anyone typical around :D in order to validate the performance of this eating plan?
I'd like to discover if anybody found out of DietOramy natural diet program (google for more info)? I've found out about it from a friend who really decreased lots of belly fat, although he's sort of a fanatic, so is there anyone average out there ;) to help confirm the actual performance of this natural diet program?
@weightloss01 Any additional calories of any kind will put on weight BUT NOT muscles. Muscle comes from lifting.

@BodyPerformanceTV in order to stay healthy all you need is the essential nutrients...ie...vitamin c to avoid scurvy..some cholesterol to produce hormones and EFS(which the body cant produce). :)
i think you should make it more clear about the low fat should be low saturated/trans fat as unsaturated are good for you they helps improve heart health and help prevent depression and cancer and increase testosterone. active people actually help reduce body fat by eating more fats just look at the maasai tribe their diet is mainly meat milk and cow blood very high fat diet and yet they are still very lean i know they are very active too but similar principles can be applied with moderation.
@BodyPerformanceTV this is true but so too can carbohydrates but good fats are harder to binge on. dont get me wrong you offer very good advice for people who are overweight and new you just seem to get a lot of people who think they are pro bodybuilders commenting too the statement was more aimed at people already at a good level of fitness.
I was told that if I eat a quarter of my meal every 15 minutes instead of all at once that it would help me lose weight by reducing my hunger level so I feel full and will eat less. Is their foods I should eat more of at the beginning to fill me up faster? Like should I eat all my vegetables first then eat the meat, and then the carbs? I was 355 lbs a month ago when I started and am down to 336, but I still eat most of the meal and stop even though I feel hungry, but I want to lose weight.

thats horse buddy. good fats will not make you fat. that is a rather broad and glib statement. flax, primrose, coconut oils, almonds, to name a few, will help stablise blood sugar levels and allow for a greater nitrogen balence within the body which creates a perfect anabolic, muscle building/fat buring enviroment. that is a rather broad and glib statement.

Hey Steve!! Well first off thanks for all of your information, secondly Im doing HIIT and heavy weight training...seeing great gains but i wanted to know if my cal. deficit is too extreme...im 188lbs 5'10 and my suggested intake is 3850(good or bad?) and working out hard 5 days a week with HIIT and taking in about 3000 cals b4 my work out is considered..open to suggestions or adjustments!!! Thanks a lot.
You could try eating carbs with a bit more fiber and whole grains. This will fill you up more without adding calories. Or you could eat fruit. Very few calories and lots of fiber and water. OR just eat a bit later since WHEN you eat makes no difference in weight loss or weight gain.
hey steve! great vids! but i was just wondering what to do to get rid of those late night cravings. I am working out 3x a week heavy weight lifting and trying to eat fewer calories but what do i do when i get hungry really late at night (12pm or so, were i shouldn't eat due to already eating the right amount of calories)
Saturated fat is not dangerous. There is not one single study proving that it is dangerous. Ancel Keys started all that idea and it is this the conventional wisdom to this day. Steve your wrong.
How could anybody trust a doctor, his knowledge, or his judgement when he was in charge of organizations (WWF and WBF) that condoned the use of anabolic steroids?
Hes not the only person that advocates the diet. And all you need is 3 things: an open mind, some time, and to do is do a simple google search on the saturated fat myths. Your perspective on nutrition will drastically change.
Anyway if Steve comes in and says anything against me or what I say, read the book The Anabolic Diet by Dr. Di Pasquale. Again if he says anything against the book, he's full of it.
Okay don't listen to steve he's a brainwashed product of the government. Try this. First, start weight training if you haven't already done so. Next, cut out as many carbohydrates as you possibly can for 5-6 days of the week, including fruit and dairy. 30-50 grams a day. Then 1-2 days of the week, go on a carbohydate loading. Eat as many carbs as you can. This will supersaturate your muscles with glycogen, the energy they need for the following week.
Focus on clean carbs 80% of the time, like fruits, dairy, whole grains like Ezekial breads, and starchy veggies like potatoes. For the other 20% eat some junk food to get the cravings out of your system. This is proven to work. You won't get fat from eating all these because the carbs will be all converted to sugar and put in your glycogen deprevived muscles. Until your muscles are full, they won't turn to fat. So it's good to know when to stop.
Hi steve. I'm from the UK and have been on Atkins for 10 weeks. Lost 20 lbs but now stuck, even with extra exercise. I know deep down that Atkins is ultimately bad for me but, I'm hooked. Can you provide some advice please? Great video clips by the way !!!
The atkins diet is not bad for you. The media wants you to think that it is. You can research as much as you want..you will never find a study saying anyone died from eating a high fat/low carb diet. youll only find the flawed studies of ancel keys which are the only studies suggesting a high fat diet causes disease. they are flawed..but sadly believed to this day. as for your plateau, you should have glyogen refill days, once a week.
Chances are that your diet was not high fat. Fats are more protein sparing than carbs. This is why nature made the yolk occur in the egg, skin on the chicken, fat in the milk and red meat, pork and cheese. These fats provide excellent energy and protein sparing effects, this is why carbs are unneccessary on a high fat diet.
yea tuna, turkey, chicken, lean proteins in general dont work on low carb diets. go for red meat, eggs, cheese, nuts. the fat and protein is naturally in proportion and the fats will be protein sparing thus keeping your hard earned muscle. but i do like tuna, turkey, chicken, so i try to eat it with some mayo or olive oil for energy. whatever works.
Hey Andrew, I took your adice and loaded with carbs for two days and then went back onto Atkins. As I stated, I was stuck at 14 stones and couldn't seem to reduce that weight even with regular exercise. After the two days of carb loading (Mainly fruit and even then berries) I have now lost 2 futher pounds after, two days back on Atkins. I think the answer is one week of Atkins , maybe two and then two days of higher furit carbs to kick start your system, Thanks again
Your goal is refuel your muscles with glycogen. The main sugar in fruit (fructose) doesn't convert to muscle glycogen. It only goes to liver glycogen. Once your liver is full, the fruit goes straight into your fat cells. Fit in some other sugars and starches too to make sure the carbs go to glycogen resupply, not bodyfat, which you want to lose.
Things to think about if your progress has slowed. 1) Determine how many calories you eat each day. 2) Determine your activity levels. 3) Replace the same number of calories you eat each day with complex carbs and low fat proteins instead of fats and proteins. 4) Be aware of high calorie drinks like beer, wine, juices, sodas, etc. 5) Be aware of your snacking.
Your heart is in the right place , Steve, it's just you don't understand the fraud Ancel keys did back then to start the farcical anti saturated fat theory
I get animated about this because of the fraud prepetrated on us by "health organizations". That's all.
Those who subscribe to the phony and farcical Cholesterol Hypothesis of CAD have never been able to coherently explain why cholesterol is ASSOCIATED with CAD in younger individuals but NOT in persons 50 and over folks, the group in which most CAD fatalities occur
To claim CAD is harmful in younger individuals but benign is older indivduals is a PHYSIOLOGICAL ABSURDITY
CAD rates varied 2-6 fold WITHIN nations such as Greece Italy and Finland in Key's study DESPITE having the SAME cholesterol levels.
The FRamingham Heart Study showed cholesterol is NOT veen a risk factor for those over 47. 96% of all CAD fatalities happen FATER age 47 which means cholesterol is NOT even a risk factor for MOST of the popualtion. Risk factors are NOT causes. First rule of science
Saturated fat is NOT dangerous and does NOT cause CAD.
Sixty years worth of randomzied clinical dietray intervention trials, (the PRIMARY research) there are 18 in all, COMPLETELY FAIL to show saturatd fat to increase CAD mortality or incidence
Look up The Women's Health Initiative 2006 the most recent of these 18 trials
Ancel Keys started the saturated fat is harmful MYTH with his FRUADULENT study in 1953 called The Seven Countries Study. Keys OMITTED DATA PURPOSELY to "prove" his false theory and idea.
Numerous scientists at the time tore him apart, but Keys had political power being an AHA member, the press latched on the and the rest is history h t t p : // w w w. r a v n s k o v . n u / m y h t 4 . h t m See here
"Sixty years worth of randomzied clinical dietary intervention trials completely fail to show saturate dfat restriction to lower CAD mortality, incidence or total mortality" - Anthony Colpo
Sorry Steve you are incorrect about the low saturated fat diet. it is FRAUD strated by Ancel Keys 1953 Seven Countries Study
hey steve, i got a question im a junior in highschool i weigh about 145 and im about 5'7 tall im taking a weight training/basketball class theres kids in my class that are skinnier and bonier then me & i know im more bulkier and have more muscle mass then them, but they are lifting like 2x as much as me its hard to keep up with them why is this? any ideas? ive been taking supplements & workout every now and then at home i mainly focus on appearance rather then strength is that why
1. Better mechanical leverage (the way muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints fit together) causes greater strength. This is why some skinny people (and all monkeys) have great strength without huge muscles.
2. Continue lifting heavier weights and your strenght will increase.
No too bad a way to lose weight (or cut calories.) Bodybuilders do it. Another way would be to eat complex, whole grain carbs and simply watch your fat in-take.
What's really funny armchairexpert.. Seve could snatch you up and ring your neck like a chicken.. and there would't be anything you could do about it..lol
He knows more then you do. "Good" and "bad" diets can be easly defiant so yeah, if someone wants good diet they'll be asking for it. Or you think diets in magz like 1 day - 1 apple, 2 day - 2 apples and so on are not bullshits? Give me a break. The day people start asking you about diets you can spread your bullshits to them and see if they are gona listen to you again.

You know Anthony Colpo is right Steve ;)

You're not understanding Steve........

The saturated ones are dangerous.

I thought fats were good? Well that is saturated fat like from coconut oil....the dangerous fats are the unsaturated ones.

WE're going to have that when I relaunch my website.

In Keys' fraudulent study it still did nto support his false idea despite his manipulation of things
CAD rates varied 2-6 fold WITHIN nations like Italy Greece Finland DESPITE the SAME cholesterol levels
Dr. Ravnskov's myth 4 Look it up

1. Better mechanical leverage (the way muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints fit together) causes greater strength. This is why some skinny people (and all monkeys) have great strength without huge muscles.
2. Continue lifting heavier weights and your strenght will increase.

Whats your thoughts on carb cycling...
FoldingSpace101 3 years ago
No too bad a way to lose weight (or cut calories.) Bodybuilders do it. Another way would be to eat complex, whole grain carbs and simply watch your fat in-take.

steve- "im steve turano, people ask me what is a good diet, what is a good diet to follow?"
i cut off the video right there, first off no one should be asking you what a good diet is. you dont know spit.
thearmchairexpert 3 years ago
He knows more then you do. "Good" and "bad" diets can be easly defiant so yeah, if someone wants good diet they'll be asking for it. Or you think diets in magz like 1 day - 1 apple, 2 day - 2 apples and so on are not bullshits? Give me a break. The day people start asking you about diets you can spread your bullshits to them and see if they are gona listen to you again.
