I'm surprised they didn't close the bridge. I wouldn't go on it. That water's moving at a pretty good clip.

Very enjoyable. Thanks for doing this. I live higher up in Ann Arbor. I don't recall flooding, but there was an amazing eddy from a big curve near Bandemere Park where the river flowed upstream along the shore nearly as forceful as it was going down (which was unusually fast) at this time of year.
