I lookd it up but its discontinued. I got the 2 type rs in my trunk already and he's getting me the wires this weekend and he has a friend to install it for me...he said this amp is strong enough to have both the subs bang ..u think so?

@23Houstontexas that amp is rated 1500w rms @ 2ohms, its boss tho so you'll be lucky to see 1000w but type R's don't really need alot of power to get loud so as long as the box is half way decent you should be happy. A little warning, make sure the gain on your amp is set properly because if its turned up too high its going to send dirty nasty clipped power to your subs and they aren't going to last long. Oh and DON'T use bass boost.

@23Houstontexas both those ratings are max ratings always go by rms. If your getting a box and wiring for the amp than that's an alright deal. If not offer him $250 you can get brand new type r's on eBay for $125 each shipped, and that amp used isn't worth more than $50.

@23Houstontexas no boss rates their amps with made up max numbers, you'd be lucky to see 500w rms from that 2500w amp. Type R's are not going to take 1500w rms, they can take a little more than rated but I think you should just stick to Alpines rating. If your looking for a budget amp that does rated power look at hifonics, crunch, or audiopipe.

Dude sick shit. Got a 15 sundown finally got in  built my first box ever md think I did a pretty damn good job lol. But I blew my shitty amp like 2 days after :) waitn to get 500 bucks to get a 1500 nd after that I'll upload sum vids :)
