pedals can handle quite a bit. you should look into some noise artists. you might not care for the music but it's a good example of the pwoer those things can push.

@Dustin322 eh If I want to make electronic sounds I use synths in a controlled manner. All good though. I just can't make out anything, it all sounds like broken synthesizers in a tumbler. If these circuit bent pedals could allow you control pitch, oscillation, envelope settings, etc in a controlled manner, then I'd be down.

You should write and record a real cool guitar riff, (something really simple, but effective), if you have the means to. Then put it to a cool Drum and Bass track that you already have recorded in a loop. Add different variations of the chord struture as well to accompany the new riff, and just have a blast adding in all the different sounds. You could really stumble onto something unique. Rock On!!!

Just don't get noise rock...Interesting sounds, though - Something about the vestige of "real" music in the form of an actual instrument (as opposed to computers or circuit boards) makes it more tolerable to me. I commend the creativity, even if I don't like the "music."

sometimes i like to do the same thing... just hit a note and then manipulate and transform the sounds. hell sometimes i just use the butt of my pick hand as a fist and bang against the fretboard...
