  • Estonia R.I.P Bye Estonia!

  • I agree. Ships do have bond with crew & Ship buffs. At least you understand. I tried to convince people that Scrapping a Ocean Liner is just evil. When France Norway went to the scrapyard in Alang, I was hurt & angry. I clang to ships. I think about them day in night. Dreaming about them at night. I never got over the scrapping of France. I had a bond with her. I had bonds with all Ocean Liners. Some poeple don't understand. I'm suffering, because I had those ties. They don't know what pain is.

  • R.I.P Estonia... On Estonia Is my aunt she sinking on ship :S :S

  • ESTONIA R.I.P

  • neat

  • a ship is not a beauty until they are only a memory... you may think that of Queen Mary 1 & 2, but they are only being selfish of being modern aged and x5 bigger then Titanic or Britannic

  • now in most cases sequels are never as good as the original, but this is an exception

  • @titanicissuper456 Thank you very much! :D

  • @templedread you are welcome, my pleasure to spread happiness to all youtube!

  • Note to self: Baltic sea.... not the best cruise location ^_^

  • @MrNusecus its from another life

  • @kyberforce Thank you

  • Mauretania, Queen Mary, Queen Elizabeth, Empress of Ireland, Empress of Britain, & France, They too are Great Liners

  • @SuperTitanicfreak No doubt about that.

  • @SuperTitanicfreak don't forget Titanic...

  • Hitler, when the bombed cities of Europe and Russia thought of thousands of civilians?? Marinesco HERO! He killed 3000 soldiers and officers - the crews of submarines, which floated on William Gustlov!

  • I thought the ships were like symbols of God in a way.

I think they're more than just machines as well.

  • @genchandy that's true

  • why was the wilhelm gustloff torpedoed? did the captain see that it was full of women and children?

  • @sirtyeson1 they had seen soldiers on the deck, that they were wounded they couldn´t know, so the british marine torpedoed this ship.

  • why was the wilhelm gustoloff torpedoed? did the captain see that it was full of women and children?

  • why was the wilhelm gustoloff torpedoed? did the captain see that it was full of women and children?

  • why was the wilhelm gustoloff torpedoed? did the captain see that it was full of women and children?

  • @sirtyeson1 Why so many comments with the same text? LOL It was torpedoed by a russian submarine... I don't quite know why...

  • @sirtyeson1

To answer your question you should read about the fighting at the eastern front, also remember the difference between nationalsozialim and communism, they fought kill the other side, NO RULES thats what my grandfather told me about the hard fights at eastern front.

  • @STBF1337 You couldn't be more right...

  • @sirtyeson1 it was torpedoed because the russians were trying to cut off all german supplies during the final push to berlin.

  • It Kills me to see the beauty of ships beome rust and not to be used again. What I would do is to raise the Andrea Doria and make a huge mesnum to show the greatest ships of all time.

  • @CrazyMataNui510 Thanks for the comment... Your opinion is close to mine. :)

  • Agreed! Excellent video!

  • Thanks mate!

  • very good vid

stefano, the cap arcona was sunk with KZ prisoners.

    the other caps:

cap finisterre, sunk in WW2 with POWs

cap trafalgar, sunk in WW1 after a battle with another liner (rms carmania)

    cap polonio, scrapped in 1935/6

  • thanks for the comment.

  • put Ocean Star on ur next vid

  • I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the comment.

  • Continua :D Está Excelente

  • Muito obrigado.

  • I'm Brazilian Templeread more love your videos, they have so well summed up the reason for the sinking.

    Your videos are great!

In my opinion the Empress of Ireland was the most interesting by time and type of accident that occurred with the same.

Keep doing more videos on the subject, new ships, new stories and more ...

  • Thanks! I am Portuguese, I don't know if you knew that. I'll keep on the subject, but now school is going to start again and I will have less time for this! I'll try my best! Regards, Templedread

  • M/S Estonia we all miss you!

  • Thanks for the comment!

  • Hi,

well, in all of those contributes I am missing one very well belonging ship: The Cap Arcona. She was carrying rafugees likethe Wilhelm Gustlov and was sunk in the baltic, too. I guess up to 5000 people died when she was burning after allied aircraft fire. Regards.

  • No offence but you make it sound like "Omg, why the hell was the captain of Storstad so stupid enoph to hit the EOI", it was very foggy, there was no way any1 on either ship could have seen the other before it was to late!

  • Thaks for the comment. I didn't have that intention of course. But the truth is that the EOI was rammed by Storstad. After this accident radio on ships became compulsory by law.

  • Comment removed

  • Of course not! They belong to different companies and were built in different periods. Titanic-Brittanic-Olympic (White Star); Queen Elizabeth-Mauretania2-Queen Mary (Cunard).

  • thats right, i was thinking of the Brittanic. Thanks great video dude.

  • Thanks! Glad you like it. See also my last video or 2008. Including a farewell to QE2, please.

  • Not any more. Now Titanic basicly belongs to cunard. White Star Could no longer stand on 2 feet so they became just a part of cunard trade mark. But back then they were in separate comp.

  • That's a good point of view: who owns the Titanic wreck? May the ones lost on that night rest in peace (97 years: 1912-2009)

  • Cunard does not even include QM on they're site anymore because it is no longer in service. I think they could at least talk about the hotel features because well...now it is a floating hotel.

  • That is not their duty once the ship is no longer property of Cunard... I think.

  • Great video. :)

  • Thanks.

  • Great video. :)

But its so sad to see great ships at the bottom of the ocean :(

  • Thanks for the comment. Everything comes to an end... Unfortunatelly.

  • Very well orchestrated! Nicely done! - Lyman

  • Many thanks! I apreciate that!!

  • wery good. anestly.

  • Many thanks!
