This was the most breathtaking scene i ever seen. I remember other good moments from other series, but tension on this is just perfect, i mean the actors, the dialogues, that sound at the end, phone ringing in the middle, is like an orgasm.
I feel so bad for walt in this episode. i mean, i know he had so many chances to leave the drug trade, but the 4th season and this episode especially he just kept getting beaten down. and then jesse got the rewards, which is kind of annoying, cause the whole reason gus was even mad at walt was because he saved jesse's life, and then he starts liking jesse, but hes mad at the guy who saved his life. WTF GUS?!! ASSHOLE!
I love this scene, I mean the it was tense. The best T.V show I ever watched. Bryan Cranston is the best actor. I watched Malcolm in the Middle and I can't never see him the same lol.
@M1ST3RLUFFY Dude same here! I've been on a breaking bad season spree! started watching season 1 a week ago, and now I'm all caught up. I don't...i can't even. this show is so bad ass! and I say that having watches shows like southland and the shield. i almost shit myself in disbelief during this scene
anyone else wanted to punch skylar in the fucking face so many times during this series? also that scene was my favorite one, i loved this show. sometimes i wish i could erase my memory and watch it again
I can't say I've ever seen an actor do any role this well, I don't care what awards are out there but Bryan Cranston deserves them. All of them. This was seriously the best acting ever
Crawl Space was the best episode of the whole entire season, definitely bryan cranston's best work, if he submits this episode to the emmy's he HAS to win, its the perfect episode and he's amazing in it
@JustinSuhr4 I agree with you, but at this point, after seeing 4 seasons of this fabulous show, I find jaw-dropping moments are the norm for Breaking Bad.
@XxMariofan21xX Lol yeah im currently watching the show im at where he meets gus in the restauraunt for the first time for a business arangement. But after coming across this vid AHHH! I cant wait!
@DarKnightofCydonia lol that and he's just been fired from his job, gus is out to his family and there's nothing he can do about it, and he just found out skyler's been giving their money to ted
this is one my favorite episodes because of this part and the way the music sounded scary and how walter was acting, god i love bryan cranston.hes such a great actor and deserves to be in more movies to get noticed more.
Think about this scene from Skylar's point of view. She walks into Walt freaking out about finding the money, then he screams out of just pure "WHY?" Then she gets a call saying the DEA is putting hank in protective custody? I mean when you think of it from her prospective this scene gets a whole lot crazier.
@evangemini Also, he left her a fucking batshit insane voicemail a few minutes before. Shit like, "WE'RE LEAVING TOWN PACK ANYTHING YOU NEED AND ONLY THAT" message.
I love the fact that Walt is laughing because he signed the death warrant for his family, the thing he cares the most about and his reason for all the horrible things he's done. he signed their death warrant by telling Saul to call the DEA and he comes home to find out that the money is gone to beneke of all people. if he had let Hank die his family would be safe, but walt decided to undermine Gus and thus trap himself in this helpless situation. when you're that screwed all you can do is LOL.
@Psifonian2 what? he didn't die. watch the next episode he comes out and watches them drive off. and btw, heisenberg and walt are the same person. heisenberg is just an alias he uses in the drug world. its not actually a separate person, but I understand how you got confused.
Not to mention Walt still just cackling like the Joker under the floor as Skyler listens to Marie's terrifying phone call, it's almost enough to make you yourself go insane in that very moment. This whole scene, man... shit was like rocket fuel. :D
This part was hard to watch. Walt tearing through the crawl space because he thinks that his entire family is about to be murdered. Skyler is in tears as she realizes her worst fears about Walt's job are now real. The unrelenting beat builds tension as Walt screams, and it turns to a hysterical cackle that he can't stop. And you see how sorry and horrified Skyler is, both by the danger and now Walt's breakdown, you see it all on her face. My heart almost exploded during this scene. Great stuff.
I watch both shows and NO ONE compares to Bryan Cranston...he really should have gotten that award...Golden Globes is all bull as well as every other award show!
@sara31tx thats what i said but they are both TV awards. cranston winning for best actor every year would eventually be obnoxious. he won two emmys and that will be the end of it. he might not ever get nominated again, and if he does everyone one knows he wont win. he has already been singled out for great acting, the critics an the people are aware og his work.
@spdyeric i understand that, cranston has alread won multiple awards. the fact is, he has been noticed and rewarded for his outstanding preformance in the acting community and honored for it. other actors deserve a chance to for their outstanding preformances. we all know cranston is obviously a good actor, but the community is done giving him awards for the same role. years from now if he is playing a differrent character in a different production, he may win again and more than once even.
@daspoon456 What are you talking about? He has never won a Golden Globe, and he has only been nominated twice. The Golden Globes are a joke. They give their awards to whatever is the hot new show. The Emmys, while still lacking in credibility, is where Cranston will win his fourth Emmy.
@HarryCaul89 ugh, i have already tried to explain it, go look at my previous comments, and yes, what you say is also a true factor.in the end...only time will tell.
After Kelsey Grammer won the Golden Globe for Boss, Bryan Cranston maintained a poker face for several minutes before he excused himself from his table to use the men's room. Once he was there, he did this: 0:45
@dzsekkbauer Dude yeah I agree, no one else in that nomination for best actor deserves the award more than Bryan Cranston himself. He made an outstanding performance in season 4. He's a winner in my book. As for the Golden Globe, the award show go die and rot for all I care.
This is hands down the best acting I've ever seen on cable television. I was like HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT the whole time. Give Cranston the emmy and Golden Globe and create an oscar just for him, like... now.
@nocountry4oldfreeman Fuck Hugh Laurie. He's gotten lazy with his portrayal of House. If he was ever gonna win an Emmy it should 've been for the first 4 seasons. House has become formulaic and boring.
This is the moment Walt "dies" and Hiesenberg takes over. Most folks think Heisenberg comes at the end of season 4.. but this is what pushes Walt over the edge... The point of no return.
@cuccamunga What's your point? This isn't exactly a "bad ass moment". I don't know if you actually paid attention to the show but he's slowly been turning into Heisenberg since season 1...Kind of hard to miss that.. This is Him realizing he doesn't have the money to flee with his family and so he only has the option of letting Gus kill him and his family or getting Gus before he gets him. The last 2 episodes after "Crawl Space" are desparate Walt/Heisenberg in action.
I think this is like seeing the last of his humanity leave. The way this is shot, it is like any pretense of him being good is buried, while he has to break bad further to the point he can't come back.
As dreadful as his situation is, he can't help but laugh. He is so fucked for life, that it's funny, in a horrifying way. He got into the life of crime because of his family, but now he can't get out because of his family. He achieved his dreams of being a successful meth distributor, but now it's his worst nightmare. It's also interesting hearing his wife echoing his rationalization("I had to. For us. For the family"). It's all so absurd that he laughs. Otherwise he'll cry.
Heh, I remember trying to talk to a friend after watching this. I don't think I made sense for about 10 minutes. I think Jesse will find about Jane and Brock and it'll be Walt vs Jesse for most of the season. Hank will kill Mike and an eventual showdown with Jesse will happen. Walter will still feel the need to protect/avenge Jesse though, thus causing Skyler to have to make the choice between Walter or Hank. I really believe Skyler will be the one to kill Walt.
I dunno, Walt VS Jesse is too obvious, in my opinion. I think it would pretty unexpected if Walty did come clean to Jesse about Brock and Jane, and Jesse finds it in his heart to forgive him eventually. And then they both take down Gray Matter with the help of Mike and using Skyler as bait.
@blizzy00 I had a great idea for the ending of Season 5 Walter laying in the hospital bed with hank and his family around him and his last words are "I am Heisenberg" Holy fuck that would be awesome
1: Jesse finds out how Brock got poisoned, and why Jane choked to death on her own vomit. Then its Walter Vs. Jesse.
2: Walters Cancer comes back with a Vengence, and like you say, on his deathbed he makes his final confessions. Maybe telling Hank the whole story from Day one in the desert.
3: A " Wild Card" Situation. Mike comes back, still having Fring's armed guard under his employ. Maybe Gus had a plan if he died.
This may just be the most intense, heart pounding and breathtaking scene in anything, film or TV I've ever seen. When I first saw this, I needed to take a good ten minutes to calm down and a full glass of water...chills, every time.
@century197 god damn right! Ever since the trick came back to Walt once she knew about the money, after banging her boss, i knew this bitch was a bona fide cunt
this episode and this particularly mind numbing scene was the descent of heisenberg into anarchy and madness...one of the greatest moments in TV ever!!
People who disliked this video is as follows: Gustavo Fring, Tuco, Jane, twin brothers, oh, and Jane's father. Know what they have in common? They are all fucked up by Heisenberggg !!!
This show will always be better than any of AMC's other shows in my eyes. I hate how The Walking Dead has twice as many viewers. Breaking Bad will always be the best. Period.
@nachoCChacon737 I think The Walking Dead has a chance to be just as good as Breaking Bad in time. It's a show about Zombies so it will get more viewers by default because everyone loves Zombies. It is sad tho cuz so many people are missing out on one of the best shows ever created.
This was the most breathtaking scene i ever seen. I remember other good moments from other series, but tension on this is just perfect, i mean the actors, the dialogues, that sound at the end, phone ringing in the middle, is like an orgasm.

maxjordan90 2 months ago
@maxjordan90 If by that you mean Walter H. White will die at the end of Season 5, Then yes.

@blizzy00 I had a great idea for the ending of Season 5 Walter laying in the hospital bed with hank and his family around him and his last words are "I am Heisenberg" Holy fuck that would be awesome

Yeah, i can see a few likely situations.

This reminds me of a really dark PSA commercial. This whole show reminds me of an hour long dark PSA commercial. Very chilling.

This may just be the most intense, heart pounding and breathtaking scene in anything, film or TV I've ever seen. When I first saw this, I needed to take a good ten minutes to calm down and a full glass of water...chills, every time.

Why can I see something like this happening as a wacky misunderstanding between Lois and Hal in an episode of Malcolm in the Middle?

In Stephen King's words, Breaking Bad has "now surpassed The Sopranos" and "is an American classic." Boom.

This show will always be better than any of AMC's other shows in my eyes. I hate how The Walking Dead has twice as many viewers. Breaking Bad will always be the best. Period.
nachoCChacon737 2 months ago 24
@nachoCChacon737 I think The Walking Dead has a chance to be just as good as Breaking Bad in time. It's a show about Zombies so it will get more viewers by default because everyone loves Zombies. It is sad tho cuz so many people are missing out on one of the best shows ever created.
