  • Is so frustrating to me, like SERIUS, when i shoot and i get the front of the rim, i try to give my shot a higher arc, but i get ariballs, i don't what do to is toft, today i made like 3 of 30 or 40 shots freetrhows, i hope tomorrow remeber this tips and i make those shots.

  • @Denielgunz The usual problem here tis that you are not using your legs sufficiently to pwer the shot. Please check out our video "MAKE 3 POINTERS!!! Get Your Legs Into It!!" This will explain the how and why of using the legs when you shoot. Very important.

  • when i shoot a 3 pointer, my shooting hand is some kind of lose power when it goes up. my legs are okay but my shooting hand is the problem. any advice/solution coach?

  • @Enemy1011 We recommend that you check out video; "Basketball Shooting Release "Flop Finish." You want a soft release or "Flop" finish on your shot. The above mentioned video will explain the reason for this.

  • i had to make sure that my assist-hand isn't stopping the ball. if it was my assist-hand was stopping the ball

  • @creativsk8ing: Your Assist Hand will not stop the ball, but it can have a negative effect on where the ball goes and the type of rotation that you get. Review our video "The Assist Hand."

  • hey, i have good form and stuff and during games i can seem to get it to the rim fine from 3 point land and im a good shooter during games but when im just shooting around i seem to not be as consistnt in games and im short on like all my 3 in prac and it gets in my head and i feel like i wanna change my form around, why am i having this prob?

  • @Gibsonlp3: You probably need to watch our video "Get Your Legs Into It." The shortness of the shots is due to your not "CONNECTING" your legs to the shooting stroke. Let us know how it goes.

  • @ShotScience ok thanks, i'll watch that video and try to do what that video says next time im in the gym and see if that works. thanks!

  • @Gibsonlp3: You will see that it works. Let us know how it oes.

  • do we use our left thumb to help the ball shoot? i saw the slow motion and the thumb is pushing the ball

  • @mastermind260: No use of the left thumb. It appears that it is being used, but it cannot play a role in your stroke or the ball will be in-accurate.

  • In-Depth video coming soon lol

  • @holybom23 we've had a lot of things come up that haven't allowed us to get this video up. We're hoping to get it out very soon, but we also have LOTS of shorter shooting videos up on our channel.

  • This guy at my school says that I can't shoot but has never seen me play but one time, its really messing with my confidence

  • @Sonicfast139: How can you let someone like this get into your head? It shouldn't really matter what he thinks about your game. This sure sounds like a bunch of "trash talk" to us. He is trying to get into your head and you are helping him. Screw that!!!! Be who you know you are and go after him on the court.

  • hey shotscience i am 14 years old, i am short, i weight 35kg,i am 4ft something and i am weak i do airballs because.I watched ur get ur legs, get shooting form ,set point, assist hand and get perfect shooting arc and i am waiting 4 ur lack of elevation vid plz help me

  • soon!

  • Ur vids are awesome and the tips are so true- especially 0:38!

I dropped my first ever 30 points in a game and my mid-range was on fire! I fouled out though in the 4th:D

  • Piotr: How awesome is that. Glad we could help you out. Please Spread the word.

  • My problem is that i make most of my shots, but it's usually from lucky bounces around the rim. So, I make my shots, but they look ugly going in. Also, could you guys share some drills for improving your shooting range?

  • Cody: These will be upcoming in the near future. Check out our other videos and see how your stroke compares to these players.

  • I guess you need to watch the other videos about what target you aim for, because it might be the problem. You might have the proper shooting mechanics but without the proper target, there will be a small percentage that the ball will go in specially in games.

  • red: Bingo! That is exactly right. Try it and hopefully your shot will come around. Let us know.

  • I take about 300 shots a day, but every day. No exception.

    And it's improving my shot.

  • Bruno: You are the Man! Your practice will pay off for your game. Keep up the good work. Stay tuned for more.

  • where have you guys been all my life! these videos really help a lot.

  • quatro: Thanks for your support. We are delighted to be able to help you with your game. Please spread the word and stay tuned.

  • It's a good video but like a few yrs back I was horrible but all you really have to do is take about 400-600 shots a day to improve and when you are shooting I mean shoot all around like short and mid range and Maybe long range shots it depends on how well you shoot all I really do is watch NBA games and watch their moves to get better open shots like that

  • El: Congratulations to you on your progression as a player. Their are different ways to achieve your goals. Keep up the good work and thanks for your comment.

  • I am only 12 and I have a killer jump shot

  • Eldog: Sounds good to us. That shot may lead you to the NBA! Keep workin on your game.

  • "Although" I dun get air balls, can tell me what the left hand need to do? Is it that left hand is juz for supporting the ball ????

  • kelvin: It just plays as an assist hand. Any more and it interferes with the shot.

  • yeha but it's hard to use it as an assist hand

  • Did you check out the "Assist Hand" video? It should help. When you're working on your shot, try shooting close one-handed form shots. After you get those down, bring up the assist hand and keep the shot the same. The assist hand should not influence the ball hardly at all.

  • shotscience once again comes to save the day. Great in depth videos and whoever came up with the interactive features is a genius.

  • Casey Curtiss's idea and product! He is the guy who produces our videos and is featured on this video. Thanks for the good words.
