my rs used to do that when you give it full tilt and suddenly let off.ive been told its cause theres so much fuel thats not burnt and fires in the exhaust if that make sense.looks cool though,ha.
assuming it doesnt have anti-lag then its probably over-fuelling quite badly to get flames like that. if not then ignition timing may be out i dont know.
