I first heard this mix as a teenager in NC on foxy 99 as well. I fell in love with it instantly...I have been looking, searching, longing to hear this damn song for years...no one I know remembers this mix...thank you thank you thank you...you made my week!!!
I was already into house music before this remix. Once I heard this at a skating rink, I was hooked. I was mad because I was in S.C. and could not find this anywhere. Now 15 years later, I'm bumpin' this on youtube!!! Who knew....lmao. Thanks for posting this!!!
This remix gives this song some sort of innocence like. It reminds me of "When I Think Of You". When I first saw "D&D House Mix" on the CD single I was pissed that there was no Quiet Storm mix or even a remix of Thob which was on the 12" record. It's a cute and fun mix but I think CJ's mix had the upper hand but the original being best.
It was on the original CD-5 and vinyl. It WAS ALSO THE SIDE B to the "Throb" remixes, and the unreleased radio hit "On & On" was on it also. This is not a bootleg. It was an official remix. You might be able to download it actually buy the original CD-5 single on-line.
I used to work the crowd into a frenzy dancing to this song in the clubs! Oh! The good ole days! Come on, everyone! Do the butterfly with me! LOL!
