  • Does anyboy KNOW where the MODEL number (NOT serial number) is on my 150cc GY6 scooter engine. I need a precise, accurate description of it's location.

  • how fast is it now? what did you do to the carb. to get it to fuel properly also what battery you using? will it fit in the stock battery tray? how hard was the swap thinking about doing this to my tank

  • Pa que que este video foi feito ?

  • hey what is the purpose of the air funnel in front of the engine, you know. the one attached to the belt drive cover, just below the airbox

  • @pusaoso air intake for the variator cooler

  • nice work , i'm currently modding an 07 tank urban racer , ps if you havent already get rid of all the stock rubber hoses they're junk i did and i'm much happier for it

  • hi galera am Brazilian and I'm doing a Comvitea you that like to bike a look as was my present worth honda

  • I have no idea what you just said.

  • damn your scooter screams like hell ! ironically xDDDD

just put out the db killer :D then it sounds like it shud be ^^

  • Ah. That's a vacuum line that runs to the fuel shutoff valve under the fuel tank. When the engine is running, vacuum from the intake pulls the valve open and allows fuel to flow into the carburetor. When the engine is shut off, there is no vacuum, and the valve closes to prevent fuel from running into the carb under influence of gravity.

  • It's this crazy thing called a carburetor.

  • lol!

  • It's pretty easy, consult your service manual.

  • Ahhh, so thats the doner Tank in action huh! Coolness! Did you ever get the front wheel from the Tank to fit your Zuma bro?

  • I never tried. It wasn't going to work without major fabrication.

  • Is there a governor on this model scooter?? What is the top speed you were able to reach?

  • I completely agree. The engine is pretty solid, though.

  • And what are the plans? Build the engine up or toss in a 250cc? I've been debating on doing a 170cc kit so i can up the rear gearing but i figure I'll just get a bigger bike...possibly motor.

  • I removed the engine and installed it in a Yamaha Zuma. This Tank scooter had minor front-end damage and I bought it without a title. It's a pile of parts now (most of them are on eBay)
