For me the retro lancer + Sawed off is the most fun by far. Retro lancer for dealing with Gnasher guys and the sawed off for ambushes and extreme close range :P. Great fun on King of the Hill.

epic put the retro lancer in gears 3 because when they were playing mulitplayer they keep geting kill by shotgun so they made the retro lancer power againest gansher but the retro lancer been in all the gears game dont belive me go watch the gears of war2 intro you see it in the very beganing

@IIDannyBoyII the only thing I can think of would be to try to copy that data and attempt to put it under the new account...use a USB drive that isn't important (it will configure for data tranfer and delete anything on the drive) My only concern is if it is tied into your account like achievements cause then I'm not sure it will work. I'm banking on the fact that the beta data was downloaded to the hardrive will hopefully give all the earnings to the accounts on the hardrive. goood luck man
You guys do realize that they changed the Retro Lancer from the Beta, right? They lowered it's hip fire damage, when firing from the hip it's accuracy is terrible, they lowered the damage all around pretty much to be even with the other weapons.
false i played the game on friday,having said that epic did not reduce the damage of the retro lancer but instead tweaked the recoil. No more holding down the trigger and blind firing accurately, you really have to shoot in short controlled bursts. Also the sawed-off will no longer down you (if you did not take previous damage) its either all or nothing with it.

Where in the beta you can hipfire the Retro and get that easy kill because there was no recoil and the shots pretty much goes in a straight line. I say decrease the damage of all automatics considering the fact that it is 2 or 3 other faggots always shooting at you at the same time. I get tired of seeing my health get depleted instantly.

Therefore, the recoil isn't THAT bad hard aiming it especially up close. Small clip size? Like a small clip really matters if you can literally down 3 opponents with 1 clip. I find the Retro Lancer to be super effective against Sawed-off whores, because as they're rushing you, you can aim in or blindfire like you would with a shotgun. It worked in my favor numerous times when more than one person would rush me also. It's very intimidating and people tend to freak out when so much stopping power is coming at them so fast.

Ok people complaining about sawed-off being OP and with crap range think of this. CoD BO the python pistol: If you dont add attachments it has decent range and damage. With the Snub nose attachment, range goes down and damage goes up. Gears 3 sawed-off:basically the same as the python with a snub nose; high damage little range. It makes sense people, think about it and once you know how it works, its hella easy to counter

Ok people complaining about sawed-off being OP and with crap range think of this. CoD BO the python pistol: If you dont add attachments it has decent range and damage. With the Snub nose attachment, range goes down and damage goes up. Gears 3 sawed-off:basically the same as the python with a snub nose; high damage little range. It makes sense people, think about it and once you know how it works, its hella easy to counter

retro was amazing... def gona be my primary weapon in the full game... however, i must admit that its blind and hip fire are just to acurate... so epic needs to increas its recoil by 20% or more when its is hip and blind fired.
