when the lfo is set on sync the 'wobble' sounds like shit when ableton is playing, even if no other sound is being played. any clues how to sort it mate? I'm pulling my hair out hair here
@LiftingPeanuts I'm not sure exactly what you mean. Are you able to describe how it sounds like shit? Is it a speed thing, a frequency thing, an issue with the waveform your using or possibly even relying on the default LFO setting of it being crossfaded between ramp and sine?
@Area593Studio It's dificult to explain. if i make smooth movement in a bass sound by setting the lfo on the cutoff frequency it sound fine when i press notes on the keyboard. but soon as i press play on ableton and press a note the smooth movement turns choppy and distorted, and sounds like its clipping when its not. this applies to all sounds
@LiftingPeanuts I had this same problem man there's probably too many midi tracks in the session so the software can't handle it, one of the most annoying things about ableton. You can check in the corner of the screen, the yellow bar with the percentage tells you how much midi you're using. After about 70% I usually start to get distortion and glitches. Try saving your sound, sequence it in another session, and get a wav bounce of that, usually what I do.
@killlagger468 bleed from the other filter, youv probly got a filter in the top box and none in the bottom, move the slider (to the left of the filter boxes) upwards, or just put the other filter on.
HOLY ASS BADNITS... hahaaa... what a SICK bass line dude!
this tut is extremley helpful... i have had massive on my fl fro ages, and i never was able to get any sound from it.. my buddy alwasy did tell me it was sick, but i HAD NO IDEA... i thought what a shit VST, dont even work.. excuse myobvious stupidity mane..
i think if this BASS RIFF u made was slightly slowed down.....wow!

You'd have to be pretty lazy or not bright if you couldnt work out how to do this with the 3 osc in FLStudio and the filters.

It does work, but there will be limitations, knowing Native Instruments. Though I'm not sure what they are off the top of my head.
