Does anyone know what kind of computer that is when they first start talking about the christmas card program. I have been trying to find out what our first pc was and it looked just like that but you had to boot dos with a floppy in one drive and then put the program in the other floppy drive to load. I'm pretty sure it didn't have a color screen it was the green monochrome and the screen was built into the computer
@kanetaker5566 It's an Apple II machine. During this time period it was the most successful personal computer out - a creation of Steve Wozniak (NOT Steve Jobs).
i can fix computers i can fix old ones and new ones i am not good at fixing laptops but i can fix any other computer i have an old hp form the 80s and it works but yah i fix them but a lot of the older ones you cant relly go on the internet with out a phone line i have one from the 90s that works great with wireless internet
Dude, believe me, this is not fake. It's footage from 1983. I was there. And those probably are telephone answering machines. They don't even look like PS3's. I hope you were joking, but it's hard to tell.
@XmasFLIX dude i saw that 2! at first i thought they were ps3's but the one on the right looks like an answering machine, but still pretty funny! I bet sony ripped off that answering machine design for their PS3.... O.o
The 4 year old girl is probably a genius by now, the one year old is definitely a guru too. Thanks for the upload, it was really nice to feel genuinely interested and excited about something radical when everything else was primitive. Thumbs up 2 you!
a bear that talks and only makes weird noises, a word processor and a chemistry kit that does fuck all LOL i feel sad for the children who receaved that shit! the santa hat must have been the best choice
I saw an article about Gary Kildall getting killed from falling from a ladder in July 1994. And the thought of $400 software in those days? Wow. That's still a lot to most these days as well, unless it's business software. Great history here!
Back then all the computers software are so chip in the Philippines back in the mid 80's. Now in the Philippines they sale X-box 360, Wii, the Playstation 3 and PC MAC CD ROMS are very popular in the Philippines today. Now they going to rush the stores and buy some hardware
Not tryin to be stupid...but did the Apple // have a color moniter?

I don't recognize the monitor on the //e, it looks different. What is it? It looks like an improvement over the old green screen.

@chopps7 because ps3's were totally that small and lined with ugly gray plastic and sold out of their box next to casio keyboards

If you were a lucky kid in 1983, there was a Commodore 64 under your tree. And if you were REALLY nice that year, Santa threw in a 1541.
