I saw Gogol Bordello live on their Super Taranta tour in Columbus, Ohio. They were in one of the smallest most intimate venues in the city, and it was unlike any show I've seen before or since. Their passion and energy was contagious, and 90% of their performance is lost in translation to a digital format. Not to mention their hour-and-a-half encore with world-premiere songs. The whole music hall was singing. Don't pass judgment on Gogol till you've seen them live.

In this instance, the musicianship of the band is so ridiculous compared to the real thing it's laughable - street musicians in Europe would smoke them easily. Eugune Hutz is definitely on something. Awesome live band though. Their energy is insane and their musicianship is golden. for those who don't agree. leave. I would love to see you on that stage doing what they do. It takes a lot of skill and time to sound that good. I saw this band @ The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC about a month ago.

Quite possibly the most energetic shows I have EVER seen! Gogol Bordello is so amazingly unique and great, they really deserve to be headliners. Hutz is outrageous and the rest of the band just add to his spirit.

I mean, a band consisting of musicians from the Ukraine, Ethiopia, Russia, China, Ecuador and even the US, how can you not LOVE this band!?!?!?!
