hi dude!, I'm in a big trouble!!!, I'm a DX shooter with a D5100, I want to grab my first macro lens, and I'm between the 85 because of the VR and it's DX, but I also can consider the 60mm f/2.8, because of the 2.8, and it doesn't have VR, (I don't care to much the crop... I have a 70-300 and it's FX), so what do you think?, most uses will be sometimes portraits and for macro will be flowers, plants, food and etc, no insects...I like the 85 for more distance and VR but the 60mm f/2.8 is GOOD!!!
can't choose between this and the tamron 90mm f2.8. I own nikon lenses but not sure with this one coz i want that 2.8 aperture of the tamron. is there really a big difference in aperture when shooting macro? thANKS!
