Honestly, in the modern game I think there's only one spot for an enforcer on the 4 lines unless he's actually talented like maybe a Chris Simon, but I think the direction of our team to build "Toughness" was a big mistake that landed us with once again one legit first liner and a bunch of filler, and we're not even an exceptionally tough team at that.

Colton Orr, Komi, Phaneuf and Exelby should be enough to supply fights if they need arise.

He didn't charge what so ever, he glided all the way over and put up his shoulder MItchell was in a precarious position, he could have went for the puck and absorbed the damage on the boards, rather than lowering himself and trying to get around.

Unfortunately his head was in the line of fire of his shoulders. IMO Neil should get 0 minutes in the box, and Mitchell will learn from the hit. Let the boys play.

Maybe you should actually watch the replay and see that it is his shoulder that hits his head, not the elbow, and this puck is in the area. Also, the linesman was right there, so if it was a dirty hit, the play would have stopped. This, children, is why you need to keep your head up.
