@Venchi16 Oh really ????? I'd like to see black people play hockey !! One hit and Kobe would be down for the count....as far as being able to get hit, nobody does it better than rodeo cowboys, and I don't see many black cowboys !!! I've seen far too many black basketball players who go down with very little contact and can't get up. Sorry, but white sports players take a hit A LOT better than black people !!!!!
And he has absolutely no memory of that game whatsoever...when he wrote his book, he was just watching the game on tv and writing down what he was doing. He still doesn't remember half of the games that happened after that. Ugh, and he played through migraines..you get bad ones after a concussion, sometimes they last a year.
I Love this Video and also I checked out your Channel. Very interesting! If you need any help getting this Video and your Channel exposed to were it is top in all the search I found this site called tubeviews.(net) that has took my breath away. I'm working on my 4th Channel now, this one I just made. My Videos are getting so many hits now. Check it out and keep in touch.
that was unreal... it was a huge situaton too which made it even more eerie. it was like a one run game in the 7th or 8th inning of game 5 of the alcs.. i remember nomar sprinting from shortstop to throw the ball to second then he immediately looked down to tend them both. it looked so bad live that when they showed the slo mo replay it was almost the most grusome thing ive ever seen in sports. insane.
Johnny Damon's collision still scares the crap out of me, but not as much as the Cinagliearo moment. But anyways, I think that was the year the Red Sox became to be.
ive done thAT before. i was jumping to head a ball and so was my friend and our heads smacked. hurt sooo bad. i got a huge swoolen eye and his skull-forehead was bleeding like he was stabbed
That was horrific. Absolutely horrible. I saw this last night while watching American Idol,nd they showed it right before David Archuleta sang his first song and I changed the channels to AI and I just could not enjoy David as much because I felt sick to my stomach. I'm a Red Sox fan, therefore I hate the Yankees but this... Wow.
Okay, this is going to sound crazy but I had the same exact experience! Obviously that was a while ago but wow! As a Red Sox fan I... well, you know... but I am sooooo releved that he's okay. Definetly one of the scariest moments in sports!
Johnny Damon said that he had such a bad concussion that he actually thought that he walked off the field instead of being carted off like he really was.
I read Johnny's book. He said when they were actually leaving the stadium, to make matters worse, the IV cord thing that they put in your wrist got jammed in Johnny's wrist and got stuck when the ambulance hit a bump...OUCH!!!
mythbusters tested the total velocity thing. myth busted! they dun really add up. they're doing it wrong.
