@RuBy21BuBy Forgive me for saying so, but just because a piece "is written for" a particular type of voice that doesn't of course mean that others can't sing it. Indeed, it can be quite refreshing to hear a piece that is not "type cast." :)
it's very good, but i think Wolcum is a little slow, making the piece drag a bit, also i think better dynamics could have been used in the beginning. but generally, it's very good!
Yes Wolcum was a little slow but in those acoustics the tempo was about right. Having said that the speed of the last item in this selection was spot on. The overlap of the three parts sounded great with that echo. Super intonation, focus of attention, bright sound, all sung from memory, superb. Even the accompaniment almost sounded like a harp!! The YouTube problem of non-synchronisation of sound and vision was really bad in the close-ups. BTW my parents-in-law were married in this church.
Performed the way it should be. The director should be commended in the most glowing terms and the young women sang this with a personal fire that I have seen professionals lack when performing this. Benjamin Britten must be smiling.
A total pleasure to listen to. Thank you.

@RuBy21BuBy my town's choir is doing an SATB version with harp and piano, so it can be transposed for different voices and instruments :)
