Actually, there were a lot of shows where artists could smoke inside filming studios. That was before the anti-smoking ban in the States, of course, but in Britain it was commonplace to smoke everywhere up until a few years ago. This season was shot in 1995, so who knows. I remember there was a Chappelle Show episode where Dave smokes inside the studio, and that wasn't so long ago.
I dont think Ryan really SMOKED... It was lit and it was in his mouth and it occasionally give off the grey clouds called smoke, yes. Did he breathe in? I just dont believe it. I mean come on! If he did the world would've exploded by now right? Right? Please help meeee?
@MsPrincessMonaco well actually back then they also had those joking cigarettes. Where its all fake but seriously real looking. Im sure the people directing this show wouldnt want their crew to actually smoke. x)
@zooky99point1 I know, I had a huge crush on him in my teens. Had no idea he was an actor and comedian in his own right, not just a musician. I adore him.
I hadn't realized Caroline was married to Paul Merton. They separated not long after this, but I wonder what would have happened had they both appeared on Whose Line together.

does anyone have the game, I think it was "Scene to Music," set in a butcher shop, when Caroline made a joke about "dripping?" i would love to see that on here if it isn't already, but I haven't found it.

That game of Scene to Music is in 8x04.
I think Colin looks more of a lime in 7x09 with a lime green jacket, he even makes a reference to it in the game Prison Visitor.
And yes, you could call EastEnders a soap opera, but I'd rather call it a steaming pile of... :oP
