No shit. I was in MRP for 5 1/2 weeks. I was on sticks the whole time. They made me watch the nastys that wanted to kill them selves. FUckin sucked had to hold thier hand every damn where.

Mrp for 2 1/2 months, i kno how ya feel. i wanted to quit so bad just to get out of that hell hole. but i pushed on and became a devildog. total time in boot = 5 1/2 months

i was there too, platoon 3251, 3rd battalian Lima Co. I was sent home on a medical discharge, it was honorable but not to me. i just want to finish boot camp and become a Marine

I'm in that video, MRP was harder than training itself. I went to MRP three times before finally being sent home, I only had part of the crucible left, but my wrist kept on breaking. Some people in MRP faked their injuries, but most of them like me just wanted to be a marine and kept getting screwed over in training. I was a squad leader and guide, I broke my wrist during Swim Qual, then broke it again in camp pendleton during a hike, the final time during the weaver in the crucible.

I get a kick out of watching people express their opinions. Like it or not they're only opinions and you can't really tell how anyone is feeling without walking in their shoes. I went to bootcamp in June of 84 and was accused of malingering before they realized that someone had the mumps. To make matters fun, now I'm sterile. But according to the senior DI someone was malingering. So, like I said, know before you start blowing, dog.

The gentleman in the red "cover" is being recognized for something. He's obviously a civilian. You can tell it's an award ceremony by the red binder in which most Marine Corps certificates are placed before being awarded.
