from a business stand point.. they would make a killing off of digging this out and releasing it as is. just needs the right marketing.. there is a huge resident evil cult following that would drop 50 bucks for a game like this, no problem.. i know i would. doesnt need updating. just maybe a little tweeking to work the bugs out and i would prefer them finish it and have a beginning to end, story-wise, but i would buy it anyways even if it didnt. the zombie sounds alone r hilariously awesome
