I'm not the biggest Kirk Franklin fan.. but i'd go so I could see Toby.. Maybe they should do a concert where they dont' open for each other, but they just switch off songs, like Kirk would do a quick set and then Toby Would.. like maybe a song and back and forth like they're a regular band :p and they could be on stage at the same time that way and do their colabs lol. i know that's a stupid idea but that's my input..

Hey I'm Black and I love ur music.... all ur Hip Hop ones... Like One World, Wopsie Daisy, Stories... Especially the Jamacian prone songs cuz im half Jamacian. The problem is Black people have an ear for certain kind of music... as i'm sure white people do. If both of of you meet in the middle, since I know u both like Hip Hop, then u'll get more fans. Say if you make a CD (a whole CD) with u and Kirk I know I have tons of Black Friends who listen to Kirk and they'd buy it.

when he said Kirk who he reminded me when 1 of my friends told me about kirk Franklin. She just started talkin bout him and I said whos kirk franklin and she just stared at me like I was crazy and siad you did not just say that. I smiled and said yea I did. but now I'm a HUGE kirk franklin fan. (I'm also like Toby he's awesome I love both of them they awwsome music.)

Probably more of Toby's fans know who Kirk is than Kirk fans who know Toby. I know a lot of people who like Kirk and for some reason, tobyMac isn't appealing to them. The African-American community is more into gospel than CCM as we know it... You can call it a stereotype but it's more fact than fiction.

If you both did another tour though, I'd definitely go. Kirk is one of my favorite artist.

Excuse me otter4771, but toby didn't scrap the idea just because of race- if you actually listened instead of trying to hard to misconstrue what he said, he was saying that attendence was low. Even if toby was having regular tour-concerts, and people barely showed up- guess what? He wouldn't do it. Has nothing to do with him compromising his diverse message in a hypocytica way!

Let's see. Within 39 seconds he blames the fan asking the question for not coming out - ' that's the whole problem right there'. Um, maybe it wasn't promoted that well or was too pricey. Then he blames the House of Blues - even tho they host the gospel shows there. True Toby fans would go see him anywhere.

Actually, I bet the show was great. I probably would have liked it. I guess he's just trying to find reasons why - but really, stop blamin'.

A couple of years ago we got tickets to see you and Kirk in Boston. We traveled an hour to the venue and saw a sign on the door that the show was canceled! man- we are white and we were SO bummed!!
