  • Kept us safe? How the fuck did he keep us safe? How many millions died under his presidency? What a piece of absolute shit. A complete waste of sperm. BILL CLINTON WARNED THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION PRIOR TO THE 911 ATTACKS. His arrogant ass ignored the warnings.

  • How should he be remembered?

The biggest lying, cheating piece of shit "president" who ever lived. The end

  • Ha....The guy says there are people in Africa who belive America has lost its moral standing and o-riley just shrugs it off as them being ignorant....So everyone who doesnt agree with the US is ignorant and the ones who(mostly blindly) do are OK...WTF?

  • He should be remembered for attacking a country (Iraq) unilaterally and torturing captives including at least one US citizen. Oh yeah, and spying on common citizens without court orders,...at least by anyone who likes liberty, the US Constitution, and America's role in world bodies.

  • Stfu liberal dumbasses go fuck yourself

  • Lamont your a moron!!! Bush still dosent defend himself even today cause he knows hes right. Thank you, Mr. Bush for doing whats right not whats popular, even in the face of insourmountable odds and hateful criticism. BUSH i thank you. God Bless America!

  • I actually find O'Reilly to be a fairly reasonable guy, albeit a hot tempered one, especially when compared to the likes of Hannity and Beck, who display a level of intellectual depth that they might as well come into work every day dragging their knuckles behind them. The same goes for comapring O'Reilly to the utterly spurious laisse faire gobble gook espoused by Larry Elder. As Jon Stewart said, O'Reilly has become the voice of reason at Fox, which is like being the thin kid at fat camp.

  • is a douche bag who was too stupid to see that Dick Cheney was pulling his strings.

  • The powers that be are very organized and sneaky; it's obvious that O'reilly as one of their agents is only diverting the attention of the public away from the issue of 9/11 and Irak which ill not be answered or accounted for, and towards the economy. Come on! The economy is co-dependent on this foreign policy of imperialism.

  • @karloshaman I meant to say "will not be answered"

  • he will be remembered as one of the worst presidents ever that republicans defended for 8 years, and the second he left office they started bashing him.

  • as a war criminal!

  • Bush didn't see 9/11 coming, he didn't see Catrina coming, he didn't see the recession coming. What did he actually do??? Oh, hang on, he was attacked by Saudi backed terrorists from Afghanistan and took the western world to war in Iraq.

  • You caused September 11th, you are a horrible man Mr. Bush!

  • Dont ask Africans about America, ask them about Europe instead.

  • I guess this might also be an appropriate time to mention Katrina.

  • I remember 911, dubya- you choked. And I remember haliburton

  • No one's helped Africans more then Bush? I'm pretty sure there's at least a few dozen people in the UN who did a lot more then signing papers.

  • NickVader92 UN doesnt help anyone accept international bankers, the IMF and world bank.

  • What the fuck are you going on about? Do you even have anything that can prove what you're saying? I do: The UN's got humanitarian relief efforts in Haiti and many countries in Africa at the moment. And when there was the genocide in Rwanda back in the 90's, the UN was there to help them rebuild. So next time you're going to critisize someone like the UN, do your research beforehand.

  • @NickVader92 signing paper is what leads to those actions in the first place.

  • @JoshPahr Signing papers also lead to Iraq and Afghanistan.

  • @NickVader92 congress has to okay the war as well so passing the blame to one individual isn't accurate. Also you need to blame the leaders of Canada, Britain, Australia, and a few other countries for joining us in the conflict.

  • @JoshPahr Perhaps, but Bush definitely deserves a lot of the blame for how the war was handled. (He is supreme commander after all) We joined you because we're allies, it's our duty. I'm not sure about Britain or Australia, but I know Canada is mostly (if not only) involved in Afghanistan, in lesser numbers then the US. I doubt very much that we've done as much damage in Afghanistan as the US has in Iraq.

  • It amazing how much Bill has to say NOW that Obama is in office. Where was he during the Bush administration? Bush basically set up Obama for the economic downfall and everybody knows it!

  • Damn, seeing Bush as president seems so long ago. To think not too long ago we had to see this idiot on the news all the time. Thank God the world has changed and he's gone forever. He was such an out of touch idiot who didn't care about anything but himself.

  • I do like though how often O'Reilly has Marc Lamont Hill on, but I couldn't say he's the strongest liberal around.

And also, it is frustrating to look back and see exactly how soft O'Reilly is on Bush, but the moment Obama does ANYTHING he jumps down his throat. Any right winger can do what they want with the caveat of an illusion of giving a crap.

  • I totally agree.

  • Staticnz how can you say marc hill is not the strongest lib ? i dont know anyone who is a glib as him. ugh your probably a kieth olbermann fan, the guy is too fucking pussy to debate anyone, all he does is do a bill o'reilly talking point except his is 10 times longer.

  • [Behind Bars]

  • lol o'reilly is funny "But he's the president, he is the guy who's supposed to protect the folk's."

  • i wonder if George Bush would ever attack people just like the media attacked him.

  • I think Bush prefers attacking people with guns, not words.

  • actions do speak louder than words.

  • Wow, that was supposed to be a defense of some sort? Sounded like a bunch of complaining from a guy with about a 6th grade education who was upset because he was being criticized. Well, I guess this is what happens when you have absolutely no business being the president.

  • Mother f***ing bastard, that O'reilly should get the f**k of the air. He has no right to be a political commentator. He is disrespectful, inaccurate, and a disgrace to the American people.

Perhaps the reason his is still on air is that he is being funded by elite corporations to keep Americans brainwashed by his lousy propaganda.

  • really should it be all left winged no other oppsition okayyyyyyyyyyy

  • if you actually listened to the video, o'reilly criticized bush. people might not like o'reilly very much but he stills manages to keep his show somewhat balanced compared to most foxnews programs

  • @bigheaded1 No, he only criticizes Bush because it's the "in" thing to do, to get as many viewers as possible. When Bush was in office, he always supported him no matter what, and now he's strangely changed his tune.

  • @bigheaded1 Yea he actually does keep it somewhat balanced. He'll criticize the " right " a little. But he goes after the " Left " WAY harder

  • @bigheaded1 I have to agree with that, in spite of what people say about him he is fairly balanced and unlike some people associated with Fox News I don't believe that he is a racist either just an old man stuck in his beliefs at times.

  • I think I need to have lunch with Bill to figure out what hes really like

  • they new the money issue was gonna happen back when his dad was president and maybe even a term before that. they just didn't do anything about it. at least not enough. so it's not just W.Bush's fault and i'm not that big of a fan of his but i'm also not some one sided brainless person either who just will take a side by weather they support an elephant or donkey.

  • How should he be remembered? As little as possible

  • Lets put you in prison and execute you after a dast trial. You dont have to be guilty of anything.

  • Difference is that they are guilty of something. If I was a terrorist I would deserve to be executed. Its funny how you guys put the rights of terrorists above their victims.

  • The fact that you are even calling them terrorists means that you believe that everyone who has been put in gitmo is rightly there when there is so much proof out there that soldiers were just picking up people willy nilly without any proof of them having done anything. A guy stands in front of his to prevent it being raided and off to gitmo he goes and people like you brand him as a terrorist because he is middle eastern.

  • OMG. where do you guys get this stuff? Ok show me your far left crap website that shows the "proof". BTW this is all part of your guyses Bush Derangement Syndrome, This is why the poor guy had such a poor aproval rating, its not his fault, its that you guys are deranged.

  • And what pure media source do you get your info from that the knowledge that you have is the truth. Oh I forget. That must be Bill O and Fox. You keep living with that truth mate. Just dont step outside america. The lies spreading outside of amercia might catch you like a disease. Anyway I will get you proof when they find proof to convict the detainees because so far all the detainees from Britian have been released as soon as they have been sent home.

  • Listen mate, first off you don't know me so don't pretend like you do. Second, sarcasm is a form of comedy that no one finds funny, third, I have been all around the world including Britain and many other countries in Europe, I am European as a matter of fact, I was born in Russia. Fourth, there is pleanty of evidence against them, alot of them even proudly admit that they were invloved in terrorist attacks. And I watch all kinds of media, including your bbc and liberal sky news.

  • Well listen here. Im not your mate so dont pretend that I am. I have seen American Tourists. But I wasnt literally challenging how travelled you were. I was referring to your mindset. If you think Sky News is liberal then you are a clown. Its another one of Ruperts channels and I dont need to publicise which way he and his media outlets lean. Re your proof - it seems strange that despite all the alleged evidence, so few have been charged with the offence. Hmmm. ..wonder why?

  • And lastly, none of them would admit to being terrorists. They dont call themselves terrorists. Its like saying that American soldiers proudly admit to being infidels. And I wonder what youd call an american for defending his country from occupation? Im sure Fox and your so called liberal sky news will find a heroic title for that.

  • Listen numbskull, first off you shouldn't generalize people so much, If all or even most Americans agreed with me, Obama wouldn't have been elected. Second, I never said that they called themselves terrorists, I said that they admited to commiting the acts that they were accused of proudly, they can call themselves anything they want, theyre still terrorists. So just because you don't have an argument, quit nit picking little things to avoid the point.

  • Hey numbnut. What the hell does Obama have to do with anything? Not all americans think like you but only americans think like you. Any acts commited by muslims become terrorism when the equal and opposite from US are those of brave soldiers and liberators. When an American soldier is arrested, he is a hostage. When a muslim is captured, he is a terror suspect. Even though most of these so called terror suspects were captured on their own land fight against unlawful occupation by their capturers

  • Ok buddy, Im not gonna argue with you anymore, you need some phsycological help. I don't know why you guys find it so hard to believe that there are Muslims who commit terrorist acts.

  • No one is arguing about that but you might wanna get yourself checked out first. Yeah there are muslims who commit terrorist acts but those same acts commited by others is not called terrorism. Thats the media bias I am talking about. Ans for a guy who doesnt like being generalised about, I love it how you keep on talking about us "guys" and "people" when all you are hearing is one persons opinion. Does anyone smell hypocracy here?

  • Comment removed

  • Btw, I'm glad that you realize you need some phsycological help, the first step is admiting you have a problem :-) I know you can do it buddy.

  • I love it how you have chosen to go for personal insults and school boy bully tactics when you realise that what I am saying is true and you cant debate it. Clear sign of defeat.

And by the way, contrary to your interpretation, when I say 'no one is arguing about that' - "that" refers to your claim about some muslims commiting acts of terrorism. I wasnt dignifying your immature comments by responding to it.

  • I'm not trying to insult you, I have no interest in insulting you, its just that delusion is something that noone should live with, so if you suffer from it you should do what you can to fix it.

  • Grow up buddy. I can insult as well but since we are debating, I prefer to win it using my intellect and prove your delusion rather than calling names like a school girl which is what you continue to do despite claims of otherwise. Is it a split personality thing where you arent trying to insult me but your other personailty is doing so during your black outs?

  • Lol basically, but like I said, I think Americans and New Zealanders have a lot in common and should act like brothers instead of talking crap...GODDAMN YOU ASSHOLE AUSSIE WANNABES...so next time instead of fighting, we should work together to improve US-NZ relations and not use the blame game...GO TAP A KANGAROO YOU LIBERAL BASTARD...

  • As far as our debate, theres nothing left to debate about, I say most to all of the prisoners in GITMO are terrorists/ high level insurgents, you say they aren't. I doubt that we can convince eachother one way or another, but just out of curiousity, do you think that the US has nothing better to do with its money than pay to jail random Arabs in Guantanamo? Just what is your theory for them being there?

  • Try to think about how it works. Someone who gets captured on the ground is not captured by the policy makers but the hillbilly fighting in the war who if any good at making decisions would not have been in the army in the first place. Once captured, they are "terrorists". Not the enemy but terrorists. Its much easier and less expensive to keep one in the cell then to go through the trial process. Awhat stage of the process have terrorists been seperated from prisinors of war?

  • Lol, its too bad that you have to call people braver than you and me "hillbillies", certainly there are some in the army, but most soldiers I've met are far from hillbillies as you put it.

Anyway, your point is still wrong, those soldiers don't have the power to send anyone to Guantanamo, insurgents are sent to Iraqi jails, Gitmo prisoners are usually sent there because there was prior intel about them specifically, and probably they were caught in a special raid.

  • Suicide bombers are braver than you and I as well so being brave isnt necessarily a good attribute.

You and I both know that CIA and M16 intelligence isnt all that intelligent. I guess you have more faith in the official lines than I do. We have seen time and time again that things are not done by the book from the grass roots to the very top. We are talking about Governments that have stooped to fabricating evidence and naming non-existent reports and making up fairytales to justify the war.

  • Suicide bombers aren't doing it because their brave, theyre doing it because theyre crazy. Give me all the bravery in the world I still won't be a suicide bomber.

Also dude I hate to knit pick (because I hate when people do it) but its MI6, M16 is a rifle, im sure it was just a typo.

Also if they aren't intelligent enough to decide if someone is a terrorist, than who is? I disagree with you completely, I think that they are the most reliable source, they might make mistakes, but theyre humans.

  • My bad - MI6 it is

You and I think they are crazy but they feel that they are brave martayrs fighting for a cause. Same was as you think that soldiers are brave but I think they are the dumbest 10% in your class who had the choice of stacking shelves or joining the army and still didnt get it right. Im sure they think they are brave as well but killing people in Iraq in the false belief that they are somehow defending the world against a threat that didnt exist.

  • Shame that military is seen that way nowadays. In some countries, and before in this country, military was quite prestigous, esp for those who decided to make a career out of it. My great uncle for instance was one of the only Jews in the USSR to become a Polkovnik (Thats one rank below General, I don't know how to say in English sry). I guess what you mean is the low level bullet catchers aren't respectable, still tho, they do what not many people can, so I think they deserve some respect.

  • I agree that intelligence agencies are the better at gathering intelligence but their selective and often improper use of the intelligence thats questionable. Read 'Flat Earth News' if you are interested. Its about distortions in media and the manipulation of media outlets by governments, intelligence agencies (and Greenpeace alike). One of the chapters covers the media manipulation by MI6 and CIA to gather support for the war. Written by Nick Davies (former Journalist of the year in the UK)

  • I'll check it out, I am interested in the subject, but my mind won't be changed very easily. Certainly our western countries (US,UK,NZ,etc) aren't perfect, but you don't know corruption until you've lived and fully experianced countries such as Russia (and thats probably the best out of the corrupt countries).

  • Bill is getting really fat.

  • His neck/chin turkey gobble thing is repulsive.

  • I can't understand how O'reilly can still defend Bush after all he did and keepsaying non-sense.
